But, Nintendo (And others that are not Sony) have been working on motion control since the beginning of the NES era. And, there was multiple motion control interfaces released for the NES during the NES era by Nintendo and Konami. Before the Playstation was even being thought of. So technically, the Wiiremote has been in production before the Playstation existed. :D

The Move really doenst have a lot of support. The Wiimote actually gets more support than the Move and you would think after the Move was released they would produce some good games built for the Move and not as an option on a shooter.
This is great and all but it needs to be implemented. Just because it can do something means nothing if no one gets to experience it. Nintendo could have done something like this but then it would cost too much which is why the Move isnt a hit like the Kinect.

The move is a little hard to use really well, feels incredibly awkawd whereas a normal controller feels completely natural, so natural its like i'm not even holding anything and almost like i'm controlling the game with my mind lol. The Playstation Move is NOT a ripoff of the Wii. They have been experimenting with the controller design (with the bobble on the controller, etc.) for a long time. It's been in production even before the Wii.

This is all great and all, but can you guys actually make games that have these kinds of accuracy? Really the only two games that can match the accuracy in these demos are Eye Pet and Start the Party, and to be honest, they're both pretty childish games that I'm not really into.
Also, that interface they showed near the end, would be also a really cool feature added for video chatting and doing multi tasking on PS3! Come on Sony! Peruse these ideas!
I love and hate watching these tech demos. It's awesome seeing what the move capable of and would be awesome if they actually used it, but they never do... This guy is showing this stuff off like they will actually use it, but I can guarantee the move will be just another gimmicky wiimote... Sad Sony went the Wii route with hand held stuff. This technology is a few years behind kinect. I think this may be the final nail in the coffin for Sony's PS3. @DAMANAa The move is not as good as a controller, even in shooters. The move is a little hard to use really well, feels incredibly awkawd whereas a normal controller feels completely natural, so natural its like i'm not even holding anything and almost like i'm controlling the game with my mind lol. Anyone who's been using a controller everyday for years will know what i mean.

The Playstation Move is NOT a ripoff of the Wii. They have been experimenting with the controller design (with the bobble on the controller, etc.) for a long time. It's been in production even before the Wii.

You get a Wii motion plus built in to the controller it comes with the motion sensor and there is no need to pay an extra $100 bucks just to have motion gaming! This is all great and all, but can you guys actually make games that have these kinds of accuracy? Really the only two games that can match the accuracy in these demos are Eye Pet and Start the Party, and to be honest, they're both pretty childish games that I'm not really into.
Also, that interface they showed near the end, would be also a really cool feature added for video chatting and doing multi tasking on PS3! Come on Sony! Peruse these ideas!

I love and hate watching these tech demos. It's awesome seeing what the move capable of and would be awesome if they actually used it, but they never do... This guy is showing this stuff off like they will actually use it, but I can guarantee the move will be just another gimmicky wiimote... Every game that comes out will be all the same crap we've already seen and they won't use any of the cool stuff seen in this video. Guaranteed.

Move looks great and all, but its a ripoff of the Wii. In fact, Motion gaming sucks anyways. I'd rather just play a game without nonsense, I only find that the Wii did it right the first time, but sort of fucked up with it along the way. Sad Sony went the Wii route with hand held stuff. This technology is a few years behind kinect. I think this may be the final nail in the coffin for Sony's PS3. O.K. this is probably cheaper than kinect, but how many people want to hold stuff to interact with games. Holding stuff to interact was brilliant 2+ years ago but we've moved on.

@HellbringerUK Not holding anything while playing a game feels wrong. When I'm playing a shooter I want to hold the "gun". In sports games I wanna hold the "Bat/ Racket". When I'm playing a racer I want to hold the "steering wheel". I want to feel the gunshot, crash, punch and explosion! Even The Kinect Devs have said they are thinking about making games where they can use a controller along with Kinect = (PS Move) so no, "holding stuff" to interact with games is not out dated... it's essential.
