I remember around 76/77 the ABC network was hot so was Welcome back Kotter at the same time Jimmy Carter was just elected President and here comes Carter Country. The name Carter was all over the TV then. I know Kotter is not Carter but when I was a kid it sounded the same to me.

Carter Country was fun-too bad only 2 seasons though if it went into the 80's it would have been dated since America became Reagan Country(ugh)

@deckard97 Here's what I don't understand: why didn't Carter Country go into syndication like That's My Mama and what not? Why ain't it on DVD for crying out loud?

@WizzoPro9476 in spring ,summer 1981 in Fresburg,ca kjeo 47 did air Carter co and whats Happening for 2 yrs-so maybe cartain markets got it ? and you're right why isn't it on dvd? i'd love to see it again
