I love the series but I hate how they bring up Hitomis first kiss being a big deal to her (in the first episode) and she doesnt even kiss van... not even when she realizes she loves him and has to go back to earth forever

yet she and Allan kiss.

I loved the part towards the end when Van checked up on Hitomi. It was bittersweet but it showed he was thinking of her, and who knows, he could visit her someday. Not only does he have her necklace, he still has the energist as well.

Remember, Hitomi can't go see Van herself because she gave Van her necklace(see, she always comes and goes to Geae using the necklace) So the only way for Hitomi to see Van is well...you know the answer~ For Van to go see her himself.

In both the series and movie she goes back home, even though they realized they loved each other. The end of the series is left kind of open. They know they have the ability to see each other is they want to...it is up to you to wonder if they do. ;)

Well, she stops fortune telling, so in a way it shouldn't matter where she is. I remember though, when I first saw the end and she is like "I love it here, I love Fanelia.." I really thought she was going to stay.

But yeah, that can't be the end of them seeing each other. :D
