  • how did i get here from Spongebob?

  • According to Wikipedia, there are around 100,000 of Belugas around the world, and are at the status of NT(Nearly Threatened). There are alot worse statuses! Don't think it means I hate Belugas, because they're one of my favorite animals

  • kool

  • they look okay to me

  • no fat chicks

  • Let em die. They look ugly anyway.

  • @MrWafflehouse99 probably better lookin than ur ugly ass

  • @MrShadeviperx No capitalization and what the fuck is "ur"? Plus no punctuation.

  • @MrWafflehouse99 I could not help but notice how you started your comment with a fragment sentence; take care next time to use a complete sentence when starting a comment. Furthermore you made the same mistake twice- you had two fragment sentences in a row.

  • Im so mad that their is only 340 in exictence.

  • I saw these in the Georgia Aquarium, they are so beautiful ♥

I think it's really sad that they're dying out :(

  • Who gives a fuck?

  • i really want to know why baby belgas`s are dying :(

  • @maria123201

    Probably because of humans?

  • What is causing the beluga's to decline?

  • Absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

    So senstive, intelligent, responsive /watch?v=ZS_6-IwMPjM

  • Absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

  • why would anyone care?

this is a serious question, i'm actually waiting to get a serious answer.

  • ever heard about the circle of life? No, it's not some bullshit made up by disney. Every single life form on this planet is intricately connected to each other. Although nature is amazingly resilient, there is a threshold after which there is no return. Many ignorant douchebags will now respond with "so many species have been extinct, so who cares?". My answer would be: humans are not separate from the animal kingdom, we could very well become that next specie to become extinct.

  • @jkl1234567890 to put it simply: data or gtfo!

i am not very impressed about what the indian philosophers have to say about nature. if you haven't done your homework and have no idea what exactly and how exactly affects us, then i welcome you to go cry in your basement.

  • @De4sher I have already wasted enough time with the likes of you. It takes any monkey with opposable thumbs to search up the vast amount of data that has been gathered on climate change and ecological distress man has caused, and the effects of that on our future. It is me who has to ask you to come up with data to back up your argument. And don't quote me glenn beck.

  • @jkl1234567890 see now i don't think you've spent nearly as much time as you say, since you're making false assumptions about my position. i have not come here to discuss global warming nor the environment.

i have specifically come here to discuss why would anyone care about species that go extinct.

as you very well might realize endangered species don't cause global warming. they also don't damage the env. in a manner harmful to us.

if you want to keep on discussing stick to the topic.

  • fuck belugas, let the japs eat them

  • the three people below be are Beluga whale lovers, the person after those 3 cool amigos is a bitter Beluga whale hater and should take a long hard look at himself in the mirror...get over yourself fool!

  • @clark2400 when i was yong i love beluga they were my favorite whale save the whales i'm looking at the man in the mirror i'm asking him to change his ways he he if you want to male a better world take look at your self and make that change

  • @urantiruslan yeah beluga whales are awesome, I loved that mariachi beluga whale video it was damn cute! haha...I hope these cool whales never go extinct because that would be a tragedy, they must be preserved for future generations to come. we can all make a change and I love wildlife and marine life, without them the world would be boring and lonely!

  • the two people below me are awesome the 3rd person can go fuck himself

  • the person below me is right.

  • The person bellow me can suck it

  • Who the fuck cares, its evolution, get over it.

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1 even if it wasn't evolution... why would anyone care if a species we have nothing to share with goes extinct?

let's take it one step further: i go kill all the belugas. why would anyone care?

again, not trolling. someone who disagrees please take 2 seconds and reply.

  • @De4sher Some people sympathize with animals and view animals as innocent. Killing an animal would be similar to killing a child. Its the innocence of the animals that make people sympathize with them.

  • @De4sher I agree. These douchebag treehugging fucktards dont know that 99% of all species that have ever lived are already exitinct.

  • I'm not going to try to convince you about the importance of preserving our natural environments. However, I do hope that you change your mind before sadness fills your entire soul when you have to witness your children unable to play outside because of the toxic fumes, unable to swim in the ocean due to the caustic waters, and the most heartwrenching of all, unable to laugh because cancer has spread to his lungs. I am not trying to curse you. These are the mere facts of such a future.

  • @jkl1234567890

Please Go away Liberal. "children unable to play outside because of the toxic fumes, unable to swim in the ocean due to the caustic waters" GIMME A BREAK. the Earth CAN and WILL take care of itself without mans help. It doesnt need mans help.

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1 I 100% agree with you. The Earth CAN and WILL take care of itself without mans help. MAN CANNOT TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF. I am not worried about the Earth's survival. I am worried about our own survival. If we continue in our current path, the Earth will not be affected. New species will emerge while old species will become extinct. However, we will be affected. The current natural balance will be so distorted that we will face extinction. Please open your eyes to the reality.

  • @jkl1234567890

MAN CANNOT TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF? really? Who are you to judge such a thing? we are a speck of dust on a speck of dust hurdling through space and time, we are nothing. I dont care if we go extinct. we are at natures mercy and if anyone thinks man has any control whatsoever to the destiny of mankind they're arrogant wrong and stupid.

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1 you have just agreed with everything I have said so far when you stated "we are at natures mercy". I have just realized that I have been arguing with a monkey. So well played sir, you have won this battle because of the irrevocable way that you have degraded me.

  • @jkl1234567890

we're both monkey's. get used to it

  • @jkl1234567890

    typical bleeding heart liberal CRAPFEST

  • these animals are not threatened by extinction....someon tries to get money for nothing?..see wikipedia

  • SUUUUUUUUUUPER VIDEO...CONGRATS

  • was looking all over the net and couldn't find something saying these wheales are really about to extinct... so... wtf?!

  • How do whales save the earth? I understand plants and water, yeah, but isn't whales just to LOOK at? WTF makes no sense. P.S. There are plenty of OTHER WHALES! Noob.

  • @al3051 do you think its ok to wipe out vultures. predators are necessary to keep some animals from over populating. killing cats mean mice would overpopulate. killing vultures mean diseases would spread faster. killing rabbits mean animals that depend on their meat would go extinct. do you now understand why these whales are important. if they go extinct the food they eat would overpopulate. it is best to preserve them.

  • @al3051 to make it easy for you to understand. human need oxygen to survive. the greatest producer of oxygen is plankton. most of the world oxygen comes from plankton. shrimps reproduce at a rapid rate. shrimps eat plankton. less plankton mean less oxygen. if all whale around the world go extinct, the shrimp population would skyrocket. all those shrimp need plankton which means less plankton. less plankton mean less oxygen. less oxygen mean human being start to die like flies.

  • this video is a wake up call everyone we need to save the belugas and other species, because without them, the world would be boring and disgusting place to live. THINK about it people they belong to the CYCLE of LIFE!

  • What the hell is the problem with humans think of it your family gets killed and made into soup and they enjoy it but what about the lonely little family member ?Think it when you try to imagine that would you have the best family ever? But suddenly someone kills them and eats them. I mean what is wrong with us? I was born as a human but still i am thinking do WE earn this hole wide world? Please think again when you hunt

  • How many of you (who watched this video) went to donate and help the Beluga whale?

Honestly, I have not. . . shoot me now.

  • Lions, Tigers, Bears, whales, sea turtles, bees, amphibians, OH MY! Literally thousands of species ARE GOING EXTINCT!!!!! When are we going to WAKE UP!?!

  • Uh snowwolfsabertooth, I understand your passion about this issue, because I too have a passion for whales and all wildlife in general, but don't you think your language is a little rough? We just need to support the issue of blocking the crap the government/state of AK is doing, and try in any way we can; to save these wonderful creatures. Hey chychychy12345, you're not a lil person in MI; for I'm in MI also. Take care all, and hope we can halt this garbage from continuing!

  • i don't understand what's wrong with the Alaskan government... do they think that just because Alaska is so beautiful they can do whatever the fuck they want and kill whatever the fuck they want?

  • Popular Science shockingly reported in May that 1/3 of the oceans coral reefs are dead as the ocean continues to absorb CO2 which is continually being dumped into our atmosphere. Scientists predict that at this rate in 20 - 30 years the ocean's reef system will be entirely gone. Their solution - solar, wind & hydro electric power and significantly reduce all carbon emissions now. We have the technology to prevent climate change, our gov. leaders must take action.

  • anything a lil person in Michigan can do to help!!!(besides pray)i have a loud big voice and love to talk!

  • NDRC are looking for donations online to fight in court the proposed industrial development that is threatening these remaining 340 Beluga whales.

  • Saving the Whales = Saving the World .

  • Let's Just All Please Help To Save The Whales! Watch, if you can, Our "Whale War Hero's" that are on 'Animal Planet!" I give all of my Mercy (Heart & Soul) to those people who risk their own lives, for the lives of Our Whales! Eric D. Erickson FMI:

  • I love your work, and I honor you for everything that you do for our environment!!

  • Why are there so few remaining today? What caused their population to dwindle to 340? Do other sea-life prey upon them? Finally, what needs to be done to preserve this species?

  • @DOHC2L Destruction of their habitat by industrial development. Visit NRDC online for more info

  • Spread the word get active we can save these precious animals

  • How come Im not able to post this on Facebook ? All my friends are there!

  • I was staggered by the amount of information about the intellectual capabilities of these Cooks Inlet Belugas (and likely of all cetaceans) conveyed in this single image. 1. Complex Planning. 2. Communication. 3. Cooperation. 4. Sentience. 5. Choice? 6. Learning: 7. Appreciation of "Art":

    Did I miss anything?

  • Poor sweethearts!!!!! I'll help!!!!!

  • these are such beautiful and sacred creatures
