I think what you're referring to is not "money" per se but the love of money, i.e. greed, which is a sin. A lot of the evil, if not all of it, that has occurred in history and the present is a result of man's sinful nature, in which greed, pride, and murder fall under. Now rip out that killer Lincoln Brewster solo and.. Pow! You have yourself possibly one of the most successful worship songs using a guitar solo ever. Brewster has been criticized for being to "flashy" or for having a "wicked" guitar solo in his version, but Brewster has gone on record to say he doesn't play solo's to impress. He suggests that how you play each note is most important. It is coming straight from his heart. And thanks Brenton for writing the foundation for such an amazing tune.
