If you're coming over here, be careful which state you choose: some states are MUCH less free than others, and those tend to be the states that will tax the heck out of you at every turn (mine, NY, proposed 110 new taxes in May).

A study was done called "Freedom in the 50 States," you can find it online. Having been to most of the states I can say the report is dead on. Just something to think about.
