Theres alot of versions of this one. I read one where there was no car involved but a guy was simply walking to his school dance and came upon the girl on the way there. They dated for several weeks until it was revealed that she was a ghost.

My town's got one too. We've the "Grey Lady". Apparently some pretty young girl dressed in a white dress jumped off of the bridge and if you're driving on a foggy night, you'll see her jump or she'll try to catch a ride.

I moved into a house where a guy had died drunk by falling asleep in a bathtub. The first night there I went to have a bath and I saw a man dead in the bethtub. Two nights later, I could hear digging in the dirt floor basement. I was too scared to check it out. In the morning, there was a large hole that had been dug in the basement floor. My cat refused to enter the celler from then on. I lit 13 candles and said a prayer in the bathroom and in the basement and my cat acted normal from then on.

I rented a 3rd floor apartment and my cat wouldn't go into the bedroom. I picked her up and carried her in. All of her fur was fluffed out and she was growling and spitting at something near the fireplace. I moved the bed into the kitchen and never entered that room again. Why take chances. The cat was more psychically tuned and was freaked out. I trusted her. I moved 3 months later as my cat was becoming more afraid in the hall. She never acted that way after and died when she was 17.
