  • anyone know the name of the music appears in the ranking score list?

  • is my idea or the enemy guys looks like russians! lol

  • great video! what a cool ending, short but it could be better. this reminds me of the dark and seedy 1980s arcades but life was simpler and more fun in many ways!

  • great framerate... thanks for wasting my time with this useless shit

  • This game is a fucking nightmare second time 'round. The number of kickers is incredible. One of the best arcade games imo.

  • haha so cool but not my style funny how far games have come

  • MASTER !

  • I have this game for the Commodore 64. I have played the NES version alot too though they renamed it Rush'N'Attack.

  • well played

  • hi, responding on how I made my video's. I used camtasia studio to record and convert the video to a avi-file. Because the original file was over 100MB I had to adjust it(unfortunately) to a lower resolution. I think that is why you see the lag. I wanted the video to be perfect, like I'm used to play Green Beret, but it turned out otherwise.

  • You have an inp file? Maybe you can submit it to a site or something.

Also I would consider re-recording from the inp at a larger file size, since the allowable file size is 1 GB (though 10:55 unofficial limit remians).

  • Of course, there's always ways around seeing "unregistered" anything. Not that I condone that sort of activity. >_>

But yeah, there's always a better piece of software or an emulator that has built-in recording. Always look for whatever will cause the least amount of CPU impact during gameplay. If you're not lagging onscreen, you're not lagging in your vids. I'd rather run out of my video card's output into a DVD recorder than have lag like that. No offense to expoto intended.

  • why is the video choppy?? >:(

  • Could be a symptom of the program they used for recording. Looks like they just used something to record the desktop or selected area. It can affect performance, depending upon the machine. MAME's not exactly the most optimized emulator around.

And no, scir, I'm not stalking you. I found you here here by accident.

  • always great to see people i know around on these video game videos. i use hypercam and i have a trick. i select the top part of the video screen along with the bottom. when i edit, i cut out the top part and the "unregistered hypercam" logo disappears! look at my videos. they are all made using hypercam without that annoying logo. i hope the creator of these vids takes note as well as those who produce them!

  • When you are bored playing this level I have also made a green beret video on how to play flawless at level very difficult. This was even for me a hard time!!!

  • crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW

  • u make this game look way too easy

  • great game and you great gamer!

  • WOW! What a game! so nice!! *_*

  • Congratulations!

  • I used to play the crap out of this game in the local bowling alley and on the NES back in the mid-late 80s. It was one of my favorites. I remember celebrating when I beat it in the arcades! It took me forever, but you played it like it was nothing. Awesome job, bro.

  • thank you very much!!!!

  • What happen to the warehouse stage with the nuclear missile? I guess the arcade doesn't have it, but it's in the NES version of Rush N Attack.

  • wtf?! When i played this game it was called Rush 'n' Attack!

  • Rush 'n' Attack was what Green Beret got called in America. Not that they were being xenophobic or anything...

  • hello green beret fans,

Watch my 2e video of Green beret at lv. very difficult. That one is flawless too, enjoy!!!!

  • I use to play this on my NES 8 bit system. The first Nintendo. It was called Russian Attack. I had loads of fun with this game.

  • my next video (maybe next month) will be a flawless run of green beret on difficulty: very hard.

at the moment i am still practicing a lot.

  • sweet moves bro. love the game

  • Nice. Is the character Rambo or something? This guy is ustoppable....

  • na thats just the avg us soldies nothin special about it.

  • whatcha talkin about? That character is not the average US soldier, he is a Green Beret, the best of the best.

  • oh though it was a us propoganda movie where 1 us soldies takes out 10000 terrorists.. my bad

  • umm...these guys are not terrorits. The enemies are the Russians. I know this because this game is aka rush 'n attack.

  • i was just pulling ur leg.. i know green beret i played it like ..15 years ago on my c64 : ) or em maybe ..18 or 20.. i feel old now thanks..

  • hi AzuroMasurao, like your video too. I use a mame rom and can only play it on easy normal difficult and

very difficult? how many possibilities do you have with your game? When i play it on very difficult i can end the game up to level3 flawless. hopefully we can see more videos of you, it's nice to meet fans!

  • Srry, for triple post, but I made my own run through...not as great as yours, but still good nonetheless.

  • Note I wasn't saying you suck, just I noticed it was on the Normal difficulty...it's very good nonetheless, but you should do a Difficult difficulty run.

  • Try the Difficult setting...you'll die...rofl but good vid anyway.

  • Brother, that takes me back when i was playing this game at the local convenience store. Good times...BTW: Tghis game was better known by it's American title: Rush 'N Attack.

  • for those who don't know Green beret after 4 levels

    it starts all over again.

  • This is very cool!
