Seen one in Waverley do the exact same thing...though the smoke from it was blacker than that. With DCC and a very large smoke unit, that would be a very interesting feature to model in an old Lima HST....

@Cazkumali valentas starting up but at full power a vp185 will still deafen the shit out of you with a turbo scream like a valenta but they are quiet like mtus when they start up though

The EMT hst's aren't MTU at all, they are all VP185 engined apart from 43089 where at present, is a valenta.

I noticed that some of the hsts gave a high squeal/scream mutated sound rather than the usual scream, particularly the MML(when it was)units. That Hornby HST was another one that give a similar note to this.
