I just discovered The Gits and bought the documentary, the music is incredible. It really moved me, how come find out about all these great bands after they are gone? Its a terrible tragedy, but Mia lives on.

Indeed, this is a terrible tragedy. My film can't erase the pain or the loss. The music lives on. I would do anything to get Mia Zapata back. Anything. I want The Gits to be remembered for the music they made, not through the tragedy that they endured. I love you Andy K.
