How could this large scale massmurder to be Chinese propaganda? I dont get it! Nazi-Germany couldnt hide their vicious mass murdering factories in Poland and in Tscech so how can chinese just to blow out the Nanking massacre, even a holluwood film is made about the event of Nanking! So who is lying??
The difference between German and Japan's attitudes after WW2 is: German's value system is based on human, but japan's attitude is based on their nationalism, regardless of human nature. That's why Japanese and their attitude on WW2 still are disliked by many Asians.
If you go to a book shop in japan, their books about WW2 is not about how their invasions in Asia had brought so much pain and humanitarian disaster to the Asian people, their books are about their strategic mistakes lost this war
I like 墨子 in China. So I have many things to learn from China.

@MrBoBoTom EX-CHINESE OFFICERS AMONG U.S. REFUGEES Colonel and His Aides Admit Blaming the Japanese for Crimes in Nanking New York Times January 4, 1938
New York Times January 4, 1938 said, Chinese soldiers escaped from Nanking city and they hid themselves in a university with some weapons. They confessed raping Chinese women and looting in the city, and they loudly said these crimes must have committed by the Japanese.
(Part2)Moreover, China suborned some foreigners to write the false story to newspaper articles and a book. Chinese victims couldn’t receive any medical treatment for they had no money. Chiang Kai-shek said, “You can get medical treatment for free in hospitals if you said Japanese injured you.” That’s why; poor Chinese claimed “we were hurt by Japanese. This is one of the crimes malicious slanders.
(Part1)People can’t find any conclusive evidence of the Nanking Massacre. The Nanking population was increased after Japan controlled the city. Many witnesses confessed they had not watched any crime scenes in Nanking later. Chinese government reported the documents writing the number of dead bodies was 20,000, which number was the same number of Chinese soldiers’ dead bodies. Also China fabricated 143 pictures of the Nanking Massacre.
Japanese are devils.. they still deny any of this ever took place. This is why Japan will never be liked by China and Korea, unlike Germany who have admitted and apologised for their atrocities and are no longer hated by the rest of Europe.
(Part2)As far as I could work it out, at least 4,600 to 18,400 Chinese women should have become pregnant after a set period of time. Furthermore, the big baby boom should have taken place in Nanking 10 months after the fall of Nanking. Have you heard 4.600 of Japanese and Chinese mixed parentage babies were born in China?
@lonewar ■(Part1)Around December 10, which date was Japanese surrounded the Nanking city, the city was completely fallen into a state of anarchy by Chinese soldiers. The Chinese soldiers in holy terror came to be out of control and began looting. James Espy, the vice American Council at Nanking, reported to the American Embassy at Hankow concerning the aspect of the city right before the fall of Nanking as follows :
@lonewar (Part2)Monition should be made here, however, that the Chinese themselves are not altogether exonerated of depredations, at least to some extent, before the entry of the Japanese. During the last few days some violations of people and property were undoubtedly committed by them. Chinese soldiers in their mad rush to discard their military uniforms and put on civilian clothes, in a number of incidents, killed civilians to obtain their clothing.
@undertakerRach I know you are trying your very very best to deny all these dirty shit of your nation. But you can't hide it. You can't deny it. You are only humiliating your country. You know why? You have no humanity. You're showing your ugly nature to us.
Don't reply to me because I don't wanna even talk to you. You enjoy your fascism.
@lonewar You don't need to write bad words. Just write conclusive evidence.
The Nanking Masacre was a created story by China.
Why many Chinese people came back to Nanking after Japanese occupied the city? Why Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 when the IMTFE was opened?
■(Part1)Here is a data of The Rape of Berlin, which was happened in the summer of 1945, Soviet soldiers caught many German women for raping, and massacred so many German civilians. The pregnancy rate of The Rape of Berlin was 23%. And then Chinese government has been accusing 20,000 to 80,000 of Chinese women were raped by Japanese soldiers.
you are being a troll. remember the native americans? do you think they weren't killed, mutilated, forced, raped and their cultured trumped and humiliated?
The Nanking Massacre was a false story which was just a rumor creating by China. If the Chinese say the massacre was true story, they should show conclusive evidence. I have written so many Chinese people, but nobody has written the evidence. Nanking believers have appealed the story is true to the world, but it is not indefinite. Moreover, some evidence such as pictures and videos was created by China.
How people can believe the story without evidence?
@undertakerRach Massacre denialists such as yourself are the most despicable people on earth. I read about the Nanking massacre in World History class while in Japan they only have the "Honorable Things Japan Did" textbook. There are tons of existing photos, witnesses, and written accounts from outsiders on the massacre. No there is no Chinese propaganda, there is only the bullshit you've been posting all over youtube. Thumbs up if you agree and you want to stop injustice!
@ZoggleZumZums ■(Part1)Chinese government has claimed Japanese soldiers killed 300,000 Chinese civilians while the Japanese were staying in Nanking city in China. After the Japanese occupation, did the population of Nanking decrease by more than 300,000? Let’s look at many historical records. On Dec 8,1937, Tang Sheng-zhi, who was Chinese commander, warned that all the noncombatants should assemble in the Safety Zone, and the citizens rushed into the Safety Zone for the safety.
@ZoggleZumZums (Part2)As the result, there were no people within the castle except in the Safety Zone. John Rabe, the Safety Zone Committee (TSZC) member, wrote in his diary in Dec 10, when the Nanking battle began, the Nanking population was 200,000. TSZC described in the Document No.9 dated in Dec 17, "On the 13th when the Japanese entered the city, we had nearly all the civilian population in the Safety Zone, so the number 200,000 is no doubt.
@undertakerRach On the same day, December 13th, 1937, Nanking fell to the Japanese. In the next six weeks, the Japanese committed the infamous Nanking Massacre, or the Rape of Nanking, during which an estimated 300,000 Chinese soldiers and civilians were killed, and 20,000 women were raped. the Japanese committed a litany of atrocities against innocent civilians, including mass execution, raping, looting, and burning. It is impossible to keep a detailed account of all of these crimes. .
@ZoggleZumZums ■(Part1)Around December 10, which date was Japanese surrounded the Nanking city, the city was completely fallen into a state of anarchy by Chinese soldiers. The Chinese soldiers in holy terror came to be out of control and began looting. James Espy, the vice American Council at Nanking, reported to the American Embassy at Hankow concerning the aspect of the city right before the fall of Nanking as follows :
@ZoggleZumZums (Part2)Monition should be made here, however, that the Chinese themselves are not altogether exonerated of depredations, at least to some extent, before the entry of the Japanese. Chinese soldiers in their mad rush to discard their military uniforms and put on civilian clothes, in a number of incidents, killed civilians to obtain their clothing.
@undertakerRach Wow, stop spamming would ya? Your propaganda doesn't fly in light of the cold hard evidence. Everything you've posted has been debunked completely.
@ (Part1)A Japanese whose name was Tokuyasu Fukuda, he was Japanese embassy staff, visited to the committee, he was surprised at the situation because John Magee and George Ashmore Fitch was writing reports, which were reported by some Chinese young guys. The guys rushed into the committee office, and they told, “Japanese soldiers were raping women”, and “Japanese soldiers were seizing commodities from Chinese family”. John Magee and George Ashmore Fitch typed the stories without any inspection.
@(Part2)Therefore, Mr. Fukuda protested to them many times. In fact, Mr. Fukuda went to check the Japanese crime scene which was reported a robbery by a Chinese guy, there was no people, no broken and no any noise. The Nanking Massacre was created by China for propaganda. The propaganda is still ongoing!
@undertakerRach the nanjing masacre is REAL, but the chinese people has to forget the past and to live the present and h.ave a good realtioship with japan and the japanese people
@klos1001 (Part2)Why Chinese government paid money to Harold Timperley for writing book What War Means which was written about so-called the Nanking Massacre?
Why Mao didn't announce about the massacre in the international mass media conferences from 1937 to 1938? Chinese government can't tell a lie.
If you think the Nanking Massacre was true story, you should show me your conclusive evidence with source.
so...what you are saying: the japanese army entered a city in the 30s... they burned a lot of buildings, didn't touch anyone, the westerners living there were treated very well and that the people in the movie is all a fabrication, even though the movie is out there for more than 60 years... ?
you know...one part of being a patriot is to admit the errors of the past, as a sign of respect to those you've harmed and as a sign of maturity to those who will be.
@transtlantic No witnesses about the Nanking Massacre. You want to say Magee or John Rabe? Their stories had been refuted by historians. Moreover, 143 pictures are fabricated by China. China edited, created and trimmed pictures about the Nanking. Why did they need to do such ridiculous act? If you want to know which picture was edited, I can show you. Chinese claim is absurd. They are liars, so they spread Japan's bad rumors to the world. Japan can put them to the International Court!
"No witnesses"... wrong, the westerners were there. They published a video, photos and sent letters during the event. "refuted"? by who? you name "Historians", but fail to name one single "historian". what about the not fabricated pictures? There are non edited, created, non trimeed pictures about the Nanking fight. Why did they require propaganda to boost support? come on... your question is silly. Ridiculous act? their propaganda helped their case.
I want to know if you can prove that ALL pictures were edited. Don't bother...you can't. Because MANY pictures are not edited. "they are liars" - that's an absurd assumption. Japan bad rumor? lolol Japan is an amazing country. But people who deny past history are bad patriots. Japan was already at international court and lost. Japan DID attack others, so what? My country has also past history of attack, conquer and destruction of other's countries. Accept it and become better.
@transtlantic ■(Part1)Japan was one of the countries that fought against the western countries and China during the Sino-Japanese war and the Pacific Ocean War. After the wars finished, Japan has been called a defeated nation or a war crime country. The process leading to the war and ending it was very difficult to explain simply because the war process has included many countries in a veritable and political conspiracy.
You agree that Japan Fought a war. That implies it killed, it destroyed, it attacked others, both civilians and army casualities. And Japan was a defeated nation or a war crime country, just like any other country in existence. It's the past history of virtually any country struggling to survive or manifest human nature to wage war against other.
@transtlantic (Part2)Therefore, it’s very difficult to judge the rights and wrongs of the war. However, after finished the WW2, Victor Nations set up a new rule which was called Crime against Humanity. Therefore, the Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice by some historians for these reasons.
Part 2 difficulty is not an answer. Actually...Crime against humanity already existed prior to the ww2, learn your history.
Part 3 you are not making any sense..."hugging women"? lol
Part 4 Victor Nations were never afraid of being accused of war crimes, both sides have done war crimes, each paid. or are still paying.
"massacre story"? you have yet to prove it's not history. Didn't the japanese attack China? are you saying that Japanese soldiers did not destroy stuff?
@transtlantic (Part3)The first reason was the establishing of a new Law Crime against Humanity, which was definitely the legislation of specified duration. In short, authorities establish the Law against hugging women suddenly, and the new law give us penalty to people have done with hugging women before. These days, legislation of specified duration is under a taboo in legal circles.
@transtlantic (Part4)The second reason was Victor Nations were afraid of having been accused of their war crimes. Therefore, they had to evacuate to come up with their massacre story in Japan in the trial. Definitely they needed a position of justice even though they dropped off two atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Within the first two to four months of the atomic bombings, 90,000-166,000 people died in Hiroshima, and 60,000-80,000 people died in Nagasaki.
@transtlantic (Part5)Moreover, the bombing of Tokyo by U.S killed 88,000 people, and 41,000 were injured. Dropping atomic bombs on two cities and bombing missiles to Tokyo were against the law or not? Finally, Victor Nations which means judges in the Tokyo Trial needed some Japanese atrocity to cover up their performance as above. They needed some evidence which was shown that the Japanese committed cruel crimes. Their strategy was ended successfully by China.
Part 5 the bomb also stopped the war on that side of the planet. Imgine the lives that were saved! Japanese are a proud people, ending the war by assuming defeat is hardly known in Japanese history.
Needed Some japanese atrocity? more than Pearl Harbour? lol you jest.
Part 6 I don't even know who calls "victor's justice" to the tokyo trial.
The Chinese only had to prove the murder of 1 person.
Part 7 who cares if they were 10 or 340,000 people? it was murder.
@transtlantic Atomic bombs story is not related the Nanking Massacre. Do you know why did the U.S drop two atomic bombs to Japan? You should read the documents of Yalta Agreement in 1945. You don't know anything about the war, but you say the massacre was true. Ridiculous!
If the atomic bombs History is not related to nanking massacre why mention it?
Do I know why? because they had them.
I know quite a lot about WW2, I've travelled around europe and i've seen first person the left overs. The destroyed villages, the memorials, the marks from the bombs, the jew camps, I'VE SEEN, you obviously haven't. You hide behind a computer and you never left the couch.
fuck you, you prick. Finish an education and then come back with some proof.
@transtlantic (Part1)Helen Mears said, the United States helped China because it wanted to safeguard the United States's interests in China. America was cheated by China because Madam Chiang Kai-shek came to America and begged to help China. She showed many fabricated pictures which were created by the International Propaganda division in Chinese Nationalist government’s Ministry of Information. Americans believed what she said.
You are ignoring my previous points. I asked you what those "historians" published that supports your argument. You didn't answer me. yOu are just copy pasting nonsense from your propaganda file. Between you and the chinese that forged some pictures, you are the exact same.
You keep failing that ALL the pictures are forged. Look...WE KNOW SOME pictures were forged. Not all. The americans KNOW the Nanking massacre happened.
@transtlantic (Part2)They started anti-Japanese activities, for instance, Americans made TV programs which show the Japanese committed murders in China. The word “POOR CHINA” was advocated by Americans. This fact led to execute many Japanese men after Tokyo Trial. Consequently, the American concept which is Japanese are savage influenced all of the trials in the Asia. Of course Japanese don’t want to say their all of acts were right. However, the trials were exactly unfair.
We all know the americans had some anti-japanese emotions. Afterall...the Japanese army DID kill thousands of americans during the war. Hatred was to be expected.
Those Japanese men were not innocent, thus they were sentenced for execution.
Wait...American concept that Japanese are savage? LOLOLOL one of the most clean and respectfull people in the world! LOLOLOL
you are just making shit up. You even admit: "don't want to say their all of acts were right"
@transtlantic (Part3)After the war, victor nations established a new law which name was crimes against humanity, and they judged Japan and German. People called this Victor’s justice with irony.
The Nanking Massacre story was a created by China.
ofc the trials were not unfair. Cities were destroyed, people killed. Japan INVADED another country with no just cause. ANY trial would condemn Japan for what happened.
part 3 I already told you that crimes against humanity is an older law. They also judged Italy and other countries, you really should read a history book...
The Nanking massacre HAPPENED in China, denying the event is just silly.
are you saying Japan DID NOT invade CHina and didn't kill anyone during WAR?
@transtlantic (Part6)This is the third reason the Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice. According to the testimonies in the Tokyo Trial, Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 which numbers of people were killed by Japanese in Nanking city even though they had accused Japan about the Nanking Massacre which means Japanese killed more than 340,000 Chinese in the capital city in China, before the trial opened.
@transtlantic (Part7)Therefore, Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the trial. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 340,000 before they began to collect the evidence. However, many Japanese were executed by the judge even though the Nanking Massacre was a fake story. Victor’s Nation has done the cruel acts during the war, but many Japanese have been executed by them. What was the Victor's justice?
"fake story"? are you saying that the videos are false? the letters from the westerners? are you saying that the LEFTovers from the massacre are fake? the swords, the japanese uniforms, the destruction? come on... you can't be that stupid.
EVERYONE did cruel acts during the war, It's called: WAR.
Many jews were executed during the war, many nazis AFTER the war, many people were executed. Assume the errors of war an grow. Denying them doesn't help your case.
@transtlantic According to the testimonies in The International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE), Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000. Therefore, the Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the IMTFE. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 300,000 before they began to collect the evidence.
so the court judged that the japanese killed thousands of people, and now you are saying they didn't? that doesn't maek any sense. Colecting proof during a trial doesn't violate any laws.
Your conspiracy nonsense doesn't even make sense! the court judged that ppl were killed. It's beyond doubt that Japanese soldiers KILLED people during A war. it's like a side-effect of such an event
I already told you it doesn't matter if it was 10 or 200,000, all they had to prove was 1 death
@transtlantic (Part8) In conclusion, some historians and lawyers think the Tokyo Trial was something wrong. Japan doesn’t want to accuse the judgments this late. However, many Japanese are having mistakable criticisms from non-educated people sometimes. It is natural that Japanese raising an objection. The Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice by some historians for these reasons.
Part 8 In conclusion: I asked you to name me ONE single "historian" who agrees with you, you failed to do so. You re-posted the same crap that you already posted many times, proving that you are a troll. Incapable of intelligent thought and critical thinking. You do not want to know the truth.
Where are those japanese being criticized?
The reason people say: Victor's justice is because the Japanese Empire ENDED at the end of ww2, Japan was DEFEATED. end of, move on. grow
@ZoggleZumZums (Part3) For TSZC, it was absolutely necessary to know the accurate number of people in order to distribute food to those refugees. After the Japanese victory and occupation took place, TSZC in its document dated on December 17, and in subsequent documents, consistently recognized this number. Afterwards how did the population of Nanking change? TSZC documents read that in January 1938 the population was 250,000.
@undertakerRach On November 11, 1937, after securing control of Shanghai, the Japanese army advanced towards Nanking from different directions. In early December, the Japanese troops were already in the proximity of Nanking.
@ZoggleZumZums (Part4)Lewis S. C. Smythe, professor of Nanking University investigated the population with the help of many Chinese staffs on February 1938. He wrote a report which shows the population of Nanking was 250,000 or 270,000 as of the end of March 1938. The Nanking City Administrative Office of the Nanking Restoration Government, which was established on March 28, 1938, registered 277,000 inhabitants. Japanese soldiers killed 300,000 Chinese people in Nanking city?
@undertakerRach In 1928, the Chinese Nationalist Government moved the capital of China from Peking to Nanking. The city normally held about 250,000 people, but by the mid-1930's its population had swollen to more than 1 million.
@undertakerRach The Nanking massacre is written in your educational history book! Every japanese educated know it. And you are saying it's fake? HAHA Enjoy your pathetic radical nationalism, fascist!
@lonewar According to the testimonies in The International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE), Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000. Therefore, the Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the IMTFE. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 300,000 before they began to collect the evidence.
Photographs purported to be evidence of a massacre in Nanking are on display at the Nanjing Massacre Museum, at other exhibitions, and in printed publications. However, recent scientific research has revealed that there are no photographs attesting to a massacre in Nanking. 143 pictures are distorted, are fabricated, or are used for the Nanking Massacre pictures which were from different areas and different times by Chinese government.
China fabricated many pictures. Why did they need to do?
@undertakerRach. The massacre at Nanjing is well attested. The film taken by J Magee is just one example. Up to 300000 people were murdered by Japanese soldiers, thousands of women & girls were raped & many of these were murdered afterwards. Japanese attempts to deny or belittle the massacre dishonour the victims & the survivors, as well as the great nation of Japan. I've seen your site & your youtube channel. You think you defend Japan, in fact your lies harm and dishonour your own nation.
@bawhamper (Part1)There was the International Committee for Nanking Safety Zone. This committee consisted of 22 Westerners. This committee wrote reports regarding the security situation of Nanking city 61 times from Dec.13, 1937 to Feb.9, 1938 and sent the same reports to Japanese Embassy, Embassy of the United States, British Embassy and Germany Embassy. According to these 61 reports, they reported murder: 41, mayhem: 44, rape: 361, taking: 390, plunder and others: 170 for 2 months.
@bawhamper (Part2)However, all of these reports were “hearsay”. In other words, nobody of this committee witnessed them actually. The International Military Tribunal for the Far East (Tokyo Trial: 1946-1948) summoned 4 members of this committee included Magee, Ashmore Fitch, Bates and Wilson. They testified they did not witness any murder and heard from someone. This trial proved nobody witnessed murders actually and they wrote reports on the basis of”Hearsay”.
@undertakerRach You are repeating some old lies. You've obviously read the papers by Mizoguchi Ikuo & others as well as Higashinakano Shudo's pathetic book denying the atrocity. These have been debunked. You don't mention letters & diary entries written at the time by westerners in Nanking that mention mass murder, 1000+ rapes per night, looting & arson on a vast scale. Or the reports of burial societies from Nanking itself mentioning over 150,000 bodies to be buried. But thanks for replying.
@bawhamper ■(Part1)A Japanese whose name was Tokuyasu Fukuda, he was Japanese embassy staff, visited to the committee, he was surprised at the situation because John Magee and George Fitch was writing reports, which were reported by some Chinese young guys. In a number of incidents, Chinese soldiers killed their people to obtain their clothing. During the last few days, some violations of people and property were undoubtedly committed by them. James Espy, the vice American Council at Nanking, reported to the American Embassy
@FireBomberBassist you are such an ignorant idiot. This was a crime against humanity and an incredibly graphic one at that. If history is not remembered it is doomed to repeat. So show some fucking respect for the victims and their families/descendants. A "Shit happens" attitude is more appropriate for an infant breaking something, not 300,000 people being brutally murdered.
@PassengerDrums You sir have missed the entire point of my message. I didn't say for it not to be remembered because it won't. It is a crime against humanity, yes. Shit DOES happen, and when it does we can learn from it. The world has since come closer together since this massacre. I don't see something of this scale ever happening again. Why? Because we people as a whole have more compassion today. There are many folk still furious over this as if it happened yesterday which I think is not good
@PassengerDrums@PassengerDrums You sir have missed the entire point of my message. I didn't say for it not to be remembered because it won't. It is a crime against humanity, yes. (Part3)In 1937 near Shanghai, the killing, torture and assault of Japanese POWs and Chinese civilians accused of collaboration, were recorded in photographs taken by Swiss businessman Tom Simmen. In 1996, Simmen's son released the pictures, showing Nationalist Chinese soldiers involved in arbitrary executions by decapitation and shooting, as well as public torture.
(Part2)He also wrote that, in some intakes of Nationalist conscripts, 90% died from disease, starvation or violence, before they had even commenced training. In “The Birth of Communist China”, C.P. Fitzgerald describes China under the rule of KMT thus: “the Chinese people groaned under a regime Fascist in every quality except efficiency.”
(Part1)R. J. Rummel states that there is little information regarding the general treatment of Japanese prisoners taken by Chinese Nationalist forces during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-45). However, Chinese civilians and conscripts, as well as Japanese civilians, were maltreated by Chinese soldiers. Rummel claims that Chinese peasants "often had no less to fear from their own soldiers than they did from the Japanese."
To save Asian people from western colonization was only a myth. if Japan was successful the Asians were only colonized again by the Japanese Empire.
Just see the Japanese controlled Manchukuo could not perform their own Manchus ancestor worship but instead had to perform worship to the Japanese God. The king of Manchukuo had no real power to rule but a puppet to Japan.
The govt was infiltrated with numerous Japanese advisors and assis Manchukuo was also opium producing/trafficking country.
It was Iwane Matsui and his sect decided to invade Nanking after the fall the Sahnghai to the Japanese. Japan govt did not want to go on with the attach but Matsui and his military sect went on in their attack on Nanking. On the course enroute to Nanking the Japanese army already killed many civilians amounted to tens of thousands along the Yangtze river.Supplies to the army was not enough so the soldiers looted food, money and properties from Chinese civilians.
(Part4)Japan wanted to establish in China a strong Chinese government not of communists, not of Western powers, but of the Chinese people who were willing to build in cooperation with Japan the great Asia not invaded by communists or exploited by Westerners.
(Part3)If the Japanese military wanted to massacre every Nanking citizen, it would have been very easily done if they only bombarded the Nanking Safety Zone. The Japanese military did not attack it, but rather protected all the people of the Zone. In the mind of General Matsui, the purpose of the war was not to take the land, but to save Chinese civilians from the Chinese civil war, killing among the Chinese themselves.
(Part2)December 14, 1937 Dear commander of the Japanese army in Nanking, We appreciate that the artillerymen of your army did not attack the Safety Zone. We hope to contact you to make a plan to protect the general Chinese citizens who are staying in the Safety Zone….We will be pleased to cooperate with you in any way to protect the general citizens in this city. --Chairman of the Nanking International Committee, John H. D. Rabe--"
■(Part1)Before the battle of Nanking, the commander General Iwane Matsui ordered the Japanese army to be very careful not to kill any civilians. During the battle, every civilian took refuge in the Nanking Safety Zone. Japanese army did not attack it, and there were no civilian victims, except for several who were accidentally killed or injured by stray shells. John Rabe, later handed a letter of thanks for this to the commander of the Japanese army.
People kill people. For whatever reason, a person is killed. The blame game is not the answer. I am heartened by the fact that the world is full of people who are willing to give their life to save another. Love is stronger than hate.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
LOL @ the footage. Nanking is a fiction. Japan is a loving people. We never killed those people. It's propaganda. I laughed and ate popcorn through this video.
@BringTheNoise1 LOL @ dumbasses and trolls like you who think Imperial Japan was all hugs and kisses and blatantly disregard the millions they killed.
@gr0chibre Wait, wait...you're mincing my words here. Just because I enjoy popcorn doesn't mean it's my international food. I actually get my rocks off eating sub gum rice. So thank you very much.
... when was the unbelievers ~ the Kafiroon ~ ever kind to others ? Never! They cannot control their animal behaviour, becuase they do not know that their Lord, will one day open the hearts and memory of all men and all women, and their Lord will know the truth , and punishment be on them ~ by Hellfire ... there will be no denial of the truth on that day ... the day of Judgement ~
Actually, I don't read Harry Potter either, (why would you assume that?)b ut from what I've seen it probably has more basis in 'reality' than the Quran. Which, of course, isn't saying much. If you feel the 'need' to believe lies and fantasy to make you feel aaaall better about life go ahead. Just don't go spouting off about it... I have no time for your bullshit allah, or muhammad, or your 'book...' other than as a defining example of how man chooses to deceive himself.
...anyways, this has no relation to the video so I'm done with your quran talk. I suggest you go demonstrate your willful ignorance on a video that perhaps is more pertinent?
@johnnyphoenix74 your ignorance, intolerance and deliberate insult to my beliefs, my values and all that is good about me, has everything to do with this video , for it was for the same behaviour you display here, that people do the things they do ... at first you liked what I wrote, then when I said it was from Koran you were immediately offended, even none was intended, you then went on to offend the Book in my beliefs ... why?
" you to your belief - me to my beliefs" but never peace ...
No...'cool story bro' is sarcasm. It means basically the 'story' u told is bullshit i.e. NOT TRUE. And even if you didnt mean to offend- some people get 'offended' having to listen to someone spout off about their religion when it basically has NOTHING to do with the topic. THATS the problem. Believe what u want...but i dont want to hear about your 'god' or whatever the hell u believe when Im trying to watch and discuss something of historical significance thats not related
@johnnyphoenix74 well, I dont care if you dont care, and you dont care ... and this is a free website, where I can post anything I like, so just calm down, light a sigaret, take a walk ... o thou great historian ... we are so impressed by you ... and you are so noble in character ... ... haha, just kidding, you're a tool
oh, by the way, I really feel sorry for the victims, and my words, my intention was only to make people see, there is consequence, which you obviously dont get, too occupied with your importnt historical research, who did what , haha, you'll never know ... it is beter to conclude that it was, it is no more , it is history, and onl the survivors know , why keep up the hate ~ and reminding of things gone by ?
Your intention, as mentined in your first post wasnt to 'only to make people see'.' You specifically mention 'Al-Kafirun' or the 'unbelievers' who, apparently, are never 'kind to other's nor cannot 'control their animal behavior.' So, being that I happen to be an 'unbeliever...you basically are insulting me and those who also disbelieve, and in some way insinuating that what occurred at nanjing was partially due to their 'unbelief' in 'islam.' Which is patently idiotic.
I also find it humorous you are somehow insinuating 'islam' is some sort of 'truth' or way for people to avoid atrocities and animal barbarism. lol. Kind of ironic...considering your 'god' and your religion, along with MANY others, are primarily responsible for the vast, vast majority of suffering, violence, and cruelty throughout history.
@johnnyphoenix74 well, the truth is, Islam is the only truth, and who do not believe are unbelievers ~ kafiroon, but the real meaning is ~ those who reject truth ~ they are kafiroon if that offends you, is not my problem ... so, yes, religion is blamed because people do not study objectively, that religion was often used as a vehicle of war, but in the end, religion is not to blame for that, religios intention was to create a criteria of right and wrong ... life and death ... historical fact ~
Your beliefs are no more valid than those of any you deem 'unbelievers.' You have no credible evidence, no justification to offer up that makes it so. Quoting the Quran is not evidence of truth, just as it is not for anyone quoting the bible, or the talmud, or ANY religious text, for that matter. Morality is subjective, not objective..as are many things.
@johnnyphoenix74 ... I agree, and you repeat me, when I said, "you to your beliefs and me to mine" ... however, morality can never be subjective ~ it is never ever correct to kill children or rape woman ~ quoting the Bible is OK for me, since it is also truth ... I have no concern about the other people from the book, the Japs however, also think that morality was subjective to their situation of war ~ "kill your enemy" is a rational behaviour , but massacre your enemy and rape etc. never ... !
How can Japanese admit the wrong history such as the Nanking Massacre? Analyzing Photographic “Evidence” of the Nanking Massacre by historians and other recent scientific research reveal that there are no photographs attesting to a massacre in Nanking. You know, at least 143 pictures are distorted by Chinese government.
The film was taken back to the US and shown, and caused a 'sensation.' Please enlighten everyone as to what exactly qualifies that as american ''propaganda.'
@johnnyphoenix74 For six to eight weeks, the horrors in Nanking continued unabated. After World War II, while the Germans were preparing for trial at Nuremberg, the U.S., represented by General Douglas MacArthur, brokered secret deals with the Japanese government. In exchange for their research on germ warfare and human biology, the murderous actions of the Japanese in China and elsewhere in the Pacific would be ignored.
@johnnyphoenix74 After the war, the United States agreed not to prosecute the Japanese for the same war crimes that the Germans were being prosecuted for. This is in part due to their own war crimes – Fire bombing of wooden cities and dropping two atomic bombs on a civilian population (the only country ever to have done this.)The aforementioned paragraphs were taken from an article by Ami Chen Mills about Iris Chang
That has nothing to do with my question...how, exactly, was what was said at the end of this video qualify as american propaganda? Any middle school student is aware of the the 'facts' you just mentioned, anyways.
@johnnyphoenix74 hi johnny, i'm afraid i don't share your optimism about middle school students being aware of the facts i mentioned - particularly about unit 731. anyway, the propaganda kicks in as soon as the american chap starts talking and we get a shot of the stars and stripes. i can't make it much clearer than that really. if you're serious about understanding propaganda i can recommend a book called manufacturing consent by noam chomsky and edward herman. cheers
From what was said the film was brought back to the US and shown to newspapermen and 'people of importance.' It caused many of them to become ill and shocked many of them deeply. That, in your estimation, is propaganda? I find that in no way worthy of skepticism, or in any way fostering any sort of american 'agenda.'
@johnnyphoenix74 i'm enjoying the back and forth johnny. there's still time for you to make your own mind up in this life. we're not here for long after all. cast aside the newspapermen and people of importance, whoever they are. be the change!
Wow...all the historians are wrong hey. There was no Nanking Massacre? What's next? There is no Santa Claus? More chance of there being a Santa Claus than the Nanking Massacre being fake.
everybody go to search a film -The Truth about Nanjing (南京の真実, Nankin no shinjitsu--see what right-winger Japanese doing to deny the Masscre of Nankin. Fuck these liars!
(Part3)for instance, which are known to be fabricated, or from different areas and different times, continue to be used to "prove" Japanese guilt in the winter of 1937-38 at Nanjing.
(Part2) The Chinese language materials are the collections of various primary sources, including the recollections of many of the Chinese military personnel.
However, these Chinese collections show no evidence of any vigorous critical attempt to distinguish between valid primary materials and other materials: photographs,
(Part1)According to the ejcjs articles, the majority of academic research on the Nanjing Incident has been opened, some the Japanese, the Chinese and people who are speaking English have been attended the conference. Of the three language groups, Japanese has produced the most sophisticated research, with the debate in English lagging decades behind.
(Part2)However, all of these reports were “hearsay”.
■(Part1)There was the International Committee for Nanking Safety Zone.
It's funny how American patriots use the rape of Nanking as a reason to justify their atrocities on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. After the Chinese Revolution especially when the PLA repelled the U.S-led U.N force from North Korea the U.S threatened repeatedly to give China its Hiroshima, which was only prevented by a Soviet nuclear retaliation. The U.S tears for the Nanking victims are as phoney as a $3 bill.
@hectorbolshevik Well, I can tell you this, I'm American and I feel sorry for these men, women, and children who were slaughtered by Japanese soldiers because the Japanese thought, "Hey, we can!" 20,000 - 80,000 women were raped as a result of the tacit amongst the officers that they could loot and rape as they pleased.
It's even more horrible than the bombing becasue you're taking aay a womans virginity without her permission, they're pigs for doing so. So yes, I have U.S tears for them!
@zSanosake: I'm not saying not to feel sorry for these victims. The Japanese Imperial Army was a criminal army; an army of butchers. What they did was no different from the U.S in Vietnam, France in Algeria, British in Ireland, etc. All I'm saying is that to defend the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by using the rape of Nanking, after only years later the U.S was ready to do the same thing to China, Korea, and Vietnam is nothing less than dispicable.
So you would have rather had over 1 million American soldiers die in an invasion which would have wiped the Japanese culture and country off the face of the planet than use an atomic bomb that killed 200,000. And lets not forget how the Japanese killed not just in Nanking but all over the Pacific. Over 30 million innocent civilians were brutally massacred with bayonets, swords, germ warfare, burning, live dissections, and experimenting.
@FormulaKibbles: That was the American patriot's wet dream at the time. U.S military leaders such as MacArthur and Nimitz who actually fought the war have repeatedly stated that the bombs were totally unnecessary, Japan was on the verge of defeat. They were dropped for the purpose of killing Japanese civilians. The Japanese Army was no worse than the U.S army in Southeast Asia, who deliberated massacred civilians with everything short of nuclear weapons (Soviet counterattack...oooohhhh)
The Japs professor can lie to their students in the academic F*** history subject.
BuT ! the Japs can't lie to Karma which got them recently in the Tsunami...lol.
No compassion....but congratulate for the maturity of the right timing for the Animal to repay the their debts to millions or life.. but Karma ...!!!! remember !! I watched the documentary last night.. how the more than animal did that to Chinese people..feeling want to drink the Jap blood....
@undertakerRach, yep, don't know how all those bodies got into that hole, they just all died at the same time, just one big coincidence.
Look I know the Chinese government is not trustworthy, but with the amount of evidence of the atrocities commited by the Japanese Imperial Army in China before and during the War, and specifically atrocities done in Nanking, it is deeply, deeply ignorant to say that it didn't happen.
The documentation of mass graves cannot be rationally denied.
Photographs purported to be evidence of a massacre in Nanking are on display at the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall, at other exhibitions, and in printed publications. However, recent scientific research has revealed that there are no photographs attesting to a massacre in Nanking. At least 143 pictures are distorted, are fabricated, or are used for the Nanking Massacre pictures which were from different areas and different times by Chinese government.
@jdlund (Part2)Here is the burial record presented to the IMTFE (International Military Tribunal for the Far East) by the Red Swastika Society. The statistics show where the corpses were found and buried. Only about 2,800 corpses are found inside Nanking castle (walled city of Nanking), and the rest are recovered outside, which were almost 40,000. There are few corpses of women and children. Where were 300,000 of dead bodies?
@jdlund (Part3)You said, "Refuges were forced to return to Nanking after the Japanese army "restored order" If you say so, who ordered to them? What the name of document was written about the story. Which date was written in the documents? How the Japanese knew each Nanking civilians had gone?
Show me your conclusive evidence!
A great person always distinguish between opinion and fact in his or her announcements. But you are not.
@jdlund (Part4)Timperley was paid by the Ministry of Information in China for writing the book "What War Means". The book was written about the Japanese atrocity. Zeng Xubai, then chief of the international propaganda division, said in his autobiography (vol. I, p. 201) that the central propaganda bureau funded the publication of Timperly’s What War Means and Lewis S. C. Smythe’s War Damages in the Nanking Area. Both of these books must have Chinese propaganda books.
@jdlund (Part5) your answers are ridiculous! In fact you can't give me any conclusive evidence, but you think the Nanking Massacre was true story? Stupid!
The Nanking Massacre was created by Chinese government. I want to tell you that Chinese soldiers killed many civilians in Nanking city. They were bandits!
The Nanking Massacre must have been broken out by Chionese soldiers!
This is truly worse than Nazism itself. At least Hitler had a dream for his nation - the Japanese are just like animals, stealing others' lands to gorge themselves fat. It's sickening. Search, "battling bastards sack of manilla" in Google and see some of the photos on the first website that comes up. The things they did, we should and CAN never forget.
4) Furthermore, because of the intrinsic geological condition of Japan, not to let appearances fool you, another earthquake-tsunami is imminent, not a question of “if” it happens but “when”. Keep this in mind.
3) Choose another tour destination because the radiation level is still high around Japan and the Japanese government is not forthright about the severity of the nuclear accident. If you must go for business or work, don’t forget to bring your daily dose of iodine pills, good luck.

Why did they require propaganda to boost support? come on... your question is silly. Ridiculous act? their propaganda helped their case.

@transtlantic ■(Part1)Japan was one of the countries that fought against the western countries and China during the Sino-Japanese war and the Pacific Ocean War. After the wars finished, Japan has been called a defeated nation or a war crime country. The process leading to the war and ending it was very difficult to explain simply because the war process has included many countries in a veritable and political conspiracy.
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@undertakerRach Part 1
You agree that Japan Fought a war. That implies it killed, it destroyed, it attacked others, both civilians and army casualities. And Japan was a defeated nation or a war crime country, just like any other country in existence. It's the past history of virtually any country struggling to survive or manifest human nature to wage war against other.
transtlantic 1 month ago
@transtlantic (Part2)Therefore, it’s very difficult to judge the rights and wrongs of the war. However, after finished the WW2, Victor Nations set up a new rule which was called Crime against Humanity. Therefore, the Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice by some historians for these reasons.
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@undertakerRach
Didn't the japanese attack China? are you saying that Japanese soldiers did not destroy stuff?
transtlantic 1 month ago
@transtlantic (Part3)The first reason was the establishing of a new Law Crime against Humanity, which was definitely the legislation of specified duration. In short, authorities establish the Law against hugging women suddenly, and the new law give us penalty to people have done with hugging women before. These days, legislation of specified duration is under a taboo in legal circles.
undertakerRach 1 month ago

Part 6 I don't even know who calls "victor's justice" to the tokyo trial.

You keep failing that ALL the pictures are forged. Look...WE KNOW SOME pictures were forged. Not all. The americans KNOW the Nanking massacre happened.
transtlantic 1 month ago

@transtlantic (Part3)After the war, victor nations established a new law which name was crimes against humanity, and they judged Japan and German. People called this Victor’s justice with irony.
The Nanking Massacre story was a created by China.
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@undertakerRach
ofc the trials were not unfair. Cities were destroyed, people killed. Japan INVADED another country with no just cause. ANY trial would condemn Japan for what happened.
part 3 I already told you that crimes against humanity is an older law. They also judged Italy and other countries, you really should read a history book...
The Nanking massacre HAPPENED in China, denying the event is just silly.
are you saying Japan DID NOT invade CHina and didn't kill anyone during WAR?
transtlantic 1 month ago
@transtlantic (Part6)This is the third reason the Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice. According to the testimonies in the Tokyo Trial, Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 which numbers of people were killed by Japanese in Nanking city even though they had accused Japan about the Nanking Massacre which means Japanese killed more than 340,000 Chinese in the capital city in China, before the trial opened.
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@transtlantic (Part7)Therefore, Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the trial. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 340,000 before they began to collect the evidence. However, many Japanese were executed by the judge even though the Nanking Massacre was a fake story. Victor’s Nation has done the cruel acts during the war, but many Japanese have been executed by them. What was the Victor's justice?
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@undertakerRach
Denying them doesn't help your case.
transtlantic 1 month ago
@transtlantic According to the testimonies in The International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE), Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000. Therefore, the Chinese government was absorbed in collecting proofs even during the IMTFE. In other words, the Chinese government had already fixed the number of casualties into more than 300,000 before they began to collect the evidence.
undertakerRach 1 month ago
@undertakerRach
so the court judged that the japanese killed thousands of people, and now you are saying they didn't? that doesn't maek any sense. Colecting proof during a trial doesn't violate any laws.
Your conspiracy nonsense doesn't even make sense! the court judged that ppl were killed. It's beyond doubt that Japanese soldiers KILLED people during A war. it's like a side-effect of such an event
I already told you it doesn't matter if it was 10 or 200,000, all they had to prove was 1 death
transtlantic 1 month ago
@transtlantic (Part8) In conclusion, some historians and lawyers think the Tokyo Trial was something wrong. Japan doesn’t want to accuse the judgments this late. However, many Japanese are having mistakable criticisms from non-educated people sometimes. It is natural that Japanese raising an objection. The Tokyo Trial was called Victor’s Justice by some historians for these reasons.

The Nanking City Administrative Office of the Nanking Restoration Government, which was established on March 28, 1938, registered 277,000 inhabitants. You think you defend Japan, in fact your lies harm and dishonour your own nation.
bawhamper 2 months ago
@bawhamper (Part1)There was the International Committee for Nanking Safety Zone. This committee consisted of 22 Westerners. This committee wrote reports regarding the security situation of Nanking city 61 times from Dec.13, 1937 to Feb.9, 1938 and sent the same reports to Japanese Embassy, Embassy of the United States, British Embassy and Germany Embassy. According to these 61 reports, they reported murder: 41, mayhem: 44, rape: 361, taking: 390, plunder and others: 170 for 2 months.

If you feel the 'need' to believe lies and fantasy to make you feel aaaall better about life go ahead. Just don't go spouting off about it... 2010Charlemagne 4 months ago
@2010Charlemagne
Your intention, as mentined in your first post wasnt to 'only to make people see'.' You specifically mention 'Al-Kafirun' or the 'unbelievers' who, apparently, are never 'kind to other's nor cannot 'control their animal behavior.' So, being that I happen to be an 'unbeliever...you basically are insulting me and those who also disbelieve, and in some way insinuating that what occurred at nanjing was partially due to their 'unbelief' in 'islam.' Which is patently idiotic.
johnnyphoenix74 4 months ago
@2010Charlemagne
I also find it humorous you are somehow insinuating 'islam' is some sort of 'truth' or way for people to avoid atrocities and animal barbarism. lol. Kind of ironic...considering your 'god' and your religion, along with MANY others, are primarily responsible for the vast, vast majority of suffering, violence, and cruelty throughout history.
johnnyphoenix74 4 months ago
@johnnyphoenix74 well, the truth is, Islam is the only truth, and who do not believe are unbelievers ~ kafiroon, but the real meaning is ~ those who reject truth ~ they are kafiroon if that offends you, is not my problem ... so, yes, religion is blamed because people do not study objectively, that religion was often used as a vehicle of war, but in the end, religion is not to blame for that, religios intention was to create a criteria of right and wrong ... life and death ... historical fact ~
2010Charlemagne 4 months ago
@2010Charlemagne
Morality is subjective, not objective..as are many things.
johnnyphoenix74 4 months ago
@johnnyphoenix74 ... I agree, and you repeat me, when I said, "you to your beliefs and me to mine" ... however, morality can never be subjective ~ it is never ever correct to kill children or rape woman ~ quoting the Bible is OK for me, since it is also truth ... I have no concern about the other people from the book, the Japs however, also think that morality was subjective to their situation of war ~ "kill your enemy" is a rational behaviour , but massacre your enemy and rape etc. never ... !

The U.S tears for the Nanking victims are as phoney as a $3 bill.
hectorbolshevik 6 months ago
@hectorbolshevik Well, I can tell you this, I'm American and I feel sorry for these men, women, and children who were slaughtered by Japanese soldiers because the Japanese thought, "Hey, we can!" 20,000 - 80,000 women were raped as a result of the tacit amongst the officers that they could loot and rape as they pleased.
It's even more horrible than the bombing becasue you're taking aay a womans virginity without her permission, they're pigs for doing so. So yes, I have U.S tears for them!
zSanosake 6 months ago
@zSanosake: I'm not saying not to feel sorry for these victims. The Japanese Imperial Army was a criminal army; an army of butchers. What they did was no different from the U.S in Vietnam, France in Algeria, British in Ireland, etc. All I'm saying is that to defend the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by using the rape of Nanking, after only years later the U.S was ready to do the same thing to China, Korea, and Vietnam is nothing less than dispicable.

@hectorbolshevik
FormulaKibbles 5 months ago
@FormulaKibbles: That was the American patriot's wet dream at the time. U.S military leaders such as MacArthur and Nimitz who actually fought the war have repeatedly stated that the bombs were totally unnecessary, Japan was on the verge of defeat. They were dropped for the purpose of killing Japanese civilians. The Japanese Army was no worse than the U.S army in Southeast Asia, who deliberated massacred civilians with everything short of nuclear weapons (Soviet counterattack...oooohhhh)

The Nanking Massacre was a false story.
Why Chinese government edited at least 143 pictures in the Nanking Massacre Museum?
Why Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 when the IMTFE was opened?
Where were 300,000 of dead bodies?
Why many Chinese people came back to Nanking after Japanese occupied the city?
Why Chinese government paid money to Harold Timperley for writing book What War Means which was written about so-called the Nanking Massacre?

@undertakerRach How about, why is this NOT a false story?

@anikid0392 I don't understand what you want to say?

@undertakerRach I don't agree with your logic at all.

@anikid0392 Can you show me your answers of my these questions?
If you can't, the Nanking Massacre was created story by KMT.

@undertakerRach Show me the sources of the questions you made.
anikid0392 7 months ago
@undertakerRach, yep, don't know how all those bodies got into that hole, they just all died at the same time, just one big coincidence.
Look I know the Chinese government is not trustworthy, but with the amount of evidence of the atrocities commited by the Japanese Imperial Army in China before and during the War, and specifically atrocities done in Nanking, it is deeply, deeply ignorant to say that it didn't happen.
The documentation of mass graves cannot be rationally denied.
jdlund 7 months ago
@undertakerRach, but to answer your questions:
-There is plenty of evidence aside from those photos so them being edited means nothing.
-The amount of proof out there is overwelming, you just choose to ignore it.
-A lot of photos and film footage of the mass graves, the bodies are in the ground.
-Refuges were forced to return to Nanking after the Japanese army "restored order"
-Timperly is not the only source and he wasn't working for the Chinese government when he wrote What War Means.

@jdlund (Part1)

Where were 300,000 of dead bodies?
undertakerRach 7 months ago
