  • This should NEVER have to happen to ANY Department ANYWHERE at ANYTIME.

This NEVER SHOULD have happened. When things started to go south, command should have pulled them out and sounded the EVAC tones.

    Remember, personally safety comes first!!

God speed brothers... Rest in Piece.

  • I would like to thank those involved in the production of this video. I was burned in a brush fire two years ago, the flames were no higher than six inches. I was out of work for two months as a result. Simply walking again became more of a challenge than I ever could have imagined. I now understand what even a little fire can do. I will never forget how relieved and comforted I was when our local FD arrived to put out the ashes for us. God bless every firefighter and thank you once again.

  • SnoFlake Im a firefighter with No Chas FD. Understand these guys are our friends. Many of us wished we could have been there to help our brothers. We may not have saved the 9, but we could be with our brothers from CFD to comfort & suffer the loss with them. I wanted to be there for the reasons listed above, but was on vacation with my family in NC. I knew 6 of the 9 and felt helpless not being there. I hope this explains why some wish they were there. Batt Chief Joseph A. Varella NCFD
