@1f5sda rusty was a very mean vindictive chief who was good at the political stuff...he intimidated us and promoted mostly from his friends and family...if you werent a thomas or a supporter of the james island baseball team or another chiefs son, you had a long hard time getting promoted... even after the fire, he made a special trip to each station to basically threaten us that nothing will change no matter what he says on the news... i could go on but i think ive made my point...
@greggdiego454545 Yes, It is called Dawning of the day. Its a tune that can be played from a moderately fast tempo down to a slow one to use as a funeral march.
My name is Ralph from FDNY House 252. I was one of the firefighters in the 911 attacks and this was a e mail that someone that represents your city sent to me. His name was scconservative and has videos of your city there. He has deleted his account but will have a new one soon. Please help me find him

I would like to thank those involved in the production of this video. I was burned in a brush fire two years ago, the flames were no higher than six inches. I was out of work for two months as a result. Simply walking again became more of a challenge than I ever could have imagined. I now understand what even a little fire can do. I will never forget how relieved and comforted I was when our local FD arrived to put out the ashes for us. God bless every firefighter and thank you once again.
To all the fallen Brothers of Charleston Fire Department company's 1,2,3&4 of the Fort Lee Fire Department in Fort lee N.J respectfully Salute you all!!!!!
Today it was announced that the section of Highway in front of the Sofa Super store will be renamed from Savannah Highway to now be named Charleston 9 Memorial Highway.

Thank you for your video. It was a wonderful tribute. I was one of the two in charge of Captain Mulkey's casket. The whole ceremony was one that I will never forget.
God bless the Charleston Nine, their families, friends, and the Charleston FD. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

SnoFlake Im a firefighter with No Chas FD. Understand these guys are our friends. Many of us wished we could have been there to help our brothers. We may not have saved the 9, but we could be with our brothers from CFD to comfort & suffer the loss with them. I wanted to be there for the reasons listed above, but was on vacation with my family in NC. I knew 6 of the 9 and felt helpless not being there. I hope this explains why some wish they were there. Brandon, may your and your brothers rest in peace.

If you haven't seen the video ESPN did regarding Louis Mulkey it is one to see that firefighters are regular people away from the fire station.

This should NEVER have to happen to ANY Department ANYWHERE at ANYTIME.
This NEVER SHOULD have happened. When things started to go south, command should have pulled them out and sounded the EVAC tones.
Remember, personally safety comes first!!
God speed brothers... Rest in Piece.
