This dude has no idea on how to install carpet on the stairs to install carpet on the stairs you yould need a electric gun for staples a kicker, chisel, one tack strip to stretched that's how I do it is better and faster

also you should always use a knee kicker after using your chisel.

u got to put the tack strip about 2 finger lengths away from the stair riser to give you room to chisel. You stretch the carpet over the step onto that tack strip to get a secure step i never even seen anyone do this theirs no way its a good finished product

first of all i never put tack strip on the side of the stairs you cut them at the exact width if the stair staple the bottom kick the straight with a knee kicker and staple the crotch that guy is a fuc stick

this guy is a hacker...u start at bottom if the stairs are the same width with no spindles or capped edges then you can cut it one width in as long as piece you have.
