Ive got this gun... the scope doesn't work for shit but... It is a pretty good gun. I just sprayed it mat black today.. it should come out looking good.

i bought it at target and got the extra version it comes with two 20 disk clips and 40 disks they both normal and extra cost the same

For these old ones, it was a Canon SLR. With a noisy lens. :)

Thew new ones are a Canon Vixia camcorder. Much better. And a nice shotgun mic.

You'll have to buy the extra. And, you can't try to mix cheap unfortunately like get a proton since it doesn't have a mag but you could get praxis (which rocks. hard.) and use that mag in both.

Best of both worlds then. And you have scope for nitron.

Just one old mans idea.

I don't have the vulcan, but, a quick look around and it jams a bit. Plus - two very different types of ammo. What are you looking to do with it? I'm sure others can chime in and give you a better answer than I can since I don't have hands on with the vulcan.

I'm more of a praxis person. Both from accuracy and just straight up fun. It's a very satisfying pump action. Nitron is more like you came along for the ride and are just shooting out frisbees very quickly. But, thats my humble opinion.

I got the Nerf Stampede for Christmas 2010 but when i opened and essembled it i tried shooting it but it had no spring so we tried to take it back to WalMart but since we opened the stuff we couldn't get a refund, I was really bummed out cuz' that $40+ dollars i spent on that thing was my allowance :(

The camera (wo)man had a rough time because this was before our equipment upgrade... So the noise you hear is the refocusing of the lens. But, we're much more in control now!

I currently have both the Nitron and the Vigilon, but my question is: Can you remove the scope of the nitron and put it onto another vortex gun?

Yup. Scope fits any of the other Vortex guns no problem.

Biggest fan?? I guess you must be because I haven't heard that yet!

You can only have one clip in at a time.. So.. whatever the biggest clip you can find (or make I guess on the aftermarket world) will determine how many you can jam in.

The Nitron? I do. If nothing else, you have to get it for the scope. Which, I put on backwards like a ssa (yes, that was on purpose) on a different video. For the gun itself.. its good. And it shoot fast and accurate (again - think speed at which it comes out), but, on the downside it is B-I-G and it takes away from some of the pumping fun IMHO with it being automated. Take it for what it's worth from an old-head. :)

Check my other vids. You can see me shooting it. ... I wouldn't say damage so much as the automated firing is just that - automated firing. It doesn't necessarily do it any harder (un-modded) than say a praxis.

It's noisy, yea. You don't need air plugs though either.

The Praxis is actually better (shoots farther and with similar rate of fire), but it's still true that many people will want the Nitron. No one actually looks up the facts to see which is better, they read the package and look at the price tag.

That's exactly what I said on twitter last night after I played with them for a bit..

Not that there is anything wrong with the Nitron - quite the contrary. It's awesome. It has the scope (which I'm sure a lot of people will try to buy independent) and it's .. just huge. And big. And shoots rapid fire.

But, yea, the Praxis may be the silent and oft underrated gun by the general public.
