I'd hate to be "that guy", but Lost Kingdoms, SSX Tricky, FFIV, Dragon Warrior Monsters, and Sky Arcadia Legends aren't Nintendo games, they are games owned by other companies released on Nintendo platforms. On a more positive note, I'm thrilled to see a Fire Emblem game on this list and I just wish that you had Zelda Wind Waker on here somewheres.
Garbage by Zelda standards, but still a good game. At least they redeemed themselves with Twilight Princess, but they're bringing back some cartoony elements in Skyward sword which really pisses me off. Cartoony graphics just don't belong in Zelda, period.

Agree with most of it playing most of the said games. Would rank them a bit differently. The 2 I wouldn't have in there were SSX Tricky (I like the Amped series for Xbox alot more snowboard wise) and Skies of arcadia I have never played so I can't be sure about that. Would of definitely found a spot for Super Mario Sunshine since that game was freakin amazing. I also would of put Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal in there. 2nd gen was in my personal opinion, the most fun to play.

Metroid Prime was garbage, Super Metroid destroys it, heck original metroid destroys it. Where's Killer Instinct? F-Zero? Contra? Worst best of ever, so far off its not even funny.

Also, while SMG should not be here, it is not one of the worst Mario games of all time. It is quite fun. Also, if you haven't played SMG2 yet, you should. It's the caliber of SM64 and SMB3 IMO.

Galaxy is, I would confidently say, the most overrated game of all time. I honestly wouldn't even put it in my top 100. It's repetitive, bland and soft.

@Sevault If you ask me, Ocorina of time is overrated, as Majora's Mask had some interesting tricks like transformations and traveling back to the prevous days. Now, Super Mario 64 was revolutionary, but it lacked the variety that Super Mario Galaxy had. Now NSMBWii has more stuff from older mario titles. NSMB DS is a little bland in my opinion compared to NSMBWii after seing gameplay videos of it. But the later levels are more pushing it seems

zelda link to a past (snes) and twilight princes are at #1 place!!!!! ocarina of time is good but not at #1!! where ist star fox???( snes, N64)! and you can took final fantasy IV at the first 10 places!
2. Go around the internet and save a few images of each game on the list to an organized folder. (in my case, I had 3 each)
3. Obtain the music for each part, if you want to go hardcore. Hypothetically, you could use a youtube converter to turn youtube soundtracks into mp3's, but thats a little illegal, so i'm not saying thats what I did ;)
4. use Windows Movie Maker to arrange the pics/music in the right order, and add subtitles.
but i was thinking more like just a list, with one picture from each game or if i had an emulator some gameplay with hypercam, and like, some random music like System of a Down.

alright by saying these comments I may end up making a few enemies, but I stand buy my comments. firstly, brawl should be replaced with melee for COUNTLESS reasons, and secondly the first paper mario, was the best paper mario. on the bright side you had some good choices on games that deserve to be on that list.

To be honest, this list confuses me. In some cases, you pleasantly surprise me with your choices such as FF4, Tricky (even if SSX 3 is superior) and Kirby Superstar, but then you make some strange choices, completely leaving out Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: Adventures of Link, and (the original) Mario Kart (honestly, all pre Wii versions of Mario Kart are better than double dash.) You don't have any obviously bad games in there, but you missed some old gems opting for the newer stuff.
yeah, I regret leaving out Super metroid, though the Adventures of like I thought was somewhat inferior to the other zelda games. I do agree that SSX 3 was the better game, but I liked the "flavor" of tricky much more. I always though Double Dash was far and away the best Kart game, and I'm often criticized for it.
You know what, I made a HUGE mistake. I meant to suggest: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I feel kind of foolish posing Adventures of Link up there because you are right, it is inferior to other Zelda games. But believe me, that was a mistake.

Forgot to mention... One thing I think is missing from Galaxy that made Mario 64 and other 64 era platformers is there is little exploration in Galaxy, it might be too streamlined, still love it though..
while it wasn't a bad game, it's a mario game, so I hold it to a very high standard. It's mostly just me, but for some reason, all those tiny planets just bug me intensely. It does innovate, but I just think that mario 64 is the best 3D mario platformer. thanks for the comments
I don't think the gameplay is any more monotonous than any other mario game. But what makes Galaxy special to me is that it continues to innovate and keeps the platformer genre alive.
I found that game to be a major letdown. The graphics were soft, the gameplay was monotonous, the characters were one-sided, and on top of it all, it has to compete with Super Mario 64
Pretty solid list, no "major" objections. I think melee over brawl is my only critique, but this is personal preference, the melee community is so adamant about it's better gameplay than brawl, that melee tourneys are right next to brawl tourneys regardless of brawl's rampant still "recent" popularity.
Thanks back. I'm really glad you put dragon warrior monsters on here (personal favorite), I think it was about as good as Pokemon R/B in terms of gameplay (but Pokemon was THE hype). I agree with adding/considering Banjo Kazooie and A link to the past, even though it's still Zelda franchise.
ocorina of time is number 1 for sure. i couldent stop playing that game. when my N64 broke i had an out of bodie experience. a little bit of me died that day, but was resurected when the wii put it on the online store.
I'm not so sure about lost kingdoms, the concept was good but I found the actual gameplay much too restrictive, plus I had to turn the contrast on my TV waaay up every time I played it because most of the levels are so dark. That was just plain annoying.
Also a little sob story, I had Metroid Prime sitting on a shelf for years and when I finally got round to playing it it started crashing every time I tried to scan something. :(

no problem. Here's what I did:
1. make the list.
2. Go around the internet and save a few images of each game on the list to an organized folder. (in my case, I had 3 each)
3. Obtain the music for each part, if you want to go hardcore. Hypothetically, you could use a youtube converter to turn youtube soundtracks into mp3's, but thats a little illegal, so i'm not saying thats what I did ;)
4. use Windows Movie Maker to arrange the pics/music in the right order, and add subtitles.
Is that good?

but i was thinking more like just a list, with one picture from each game or if i had an emulator some gameplay with hypercam, and like, some random music like System of a Down.

I never got hypercam to work, so I couldn't record my emulators... if I had any, which I obviously don't, considering they're also a little illegal >.>
I'll be sure to watch it when you finish. Oh, and 1 tip: If you want views, post your vid as a response to a popular video, like 30000 views, but that doesnt have many responses. that way, all those people will see your vid as a response, but yours won't get bumped out because of too many responses.

Of course... Everyone likes Legend of Zelda the most. Not saing it's bad. These videos are just getting way too obvious as they get down to number 1. It's always a Zelda game, namely OoT.

This vid is not right because some games are not nintendo. Just because they are for the nintendo sysyms doesent mean they are nintendo. One said sega. Some other said other stuff. This is wasting my time ima go play maplestory.

1. I am aware that some are not nintendo, but if you read the description, I have a different definition of nintendo games than the official one.
2. Maplestory used to be the jam, but now it's fo friggin easy, I can't bring myself to play it. It became terrible after Tiger quit

alright by saying these comments I may end up making a few enemies, but I stand buy my comments. firstly, brawl should be replaced with melee for COUNTLESS reasons, and secondly the first paper mario, was the best paper mario. on the bright side you had some good choices on games that deserve to be on that list.

adventures of link is the worst zelda game out there. it doesnt deserve to be on the list. not saying i hate zelda games becuz oot is my fav game of all time but adventures of link suked!

To be honest, this list confuses me. In some cases, you pleasantly surprise me with your choices such as FF4, Tricky (even if SSX 3 is superior) and Kirby Superstar, but then you make some strange choices, completely leaving out Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: Adventures of Link, and (the original) Mario Kart (honestly, all pre Wii versions of Mario Kart are better than double dash.) You don't have any obviously bad games in there, but you missed some old gems opting for the newer stuff.

yeah, I regret leaving out Super metroid, though the Adventures of like I thought was somewhat inferior to the other zelda games. I do agree that SSX 3 was the better game, but I liked the "flavor" of tricky much more. I always though Double Dash was far and away the best Kart game, and I'm often criticized for it.

You know what, I made a HUGE mistake. I meant to suggest: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I feel kind of foolish posing Adventures of Link up there because you are right, it is inferior to other Zelda games. But believe me, that was a mistake.

Forgot to mention... One thing I think is missing from Galaxy that made Mario 64 and other 64 era platformers is there is little exploration in Galaxy, it might be too streamlined, still love it though..

while it wasn't a bad game, it's a mario game, so I hold it to a very high standard. It's mostly just me, but for some reason, all those tiny planets just bug me intensely. It does innovate, but I just think that mario 64 is the best 3D mario platformer. thanks for the comments

I don't think the gameplay is any more monotonous than any other mario game. But what makes Galaxy special to me is that it continues to innovate and keeps the platformer genre alive.

I found that game to be a major letdown. The graphics were soft, the gameplay was monotonous, the characters were one-sided, and on top of it all, it has to compete with Super Mario 64

Pretty solid list, no "major" objections. I think melee over brawl is my only critique, but this is personal preference, the melee community is so adamant about it's better gameplay than brawl, that melee tourneys are right next to brawl tourneys regardless of brawl's rampant still "recent" popularity.

Thanks back. I'm really glad you put dragon warrior monsters on here (personal favorite), I think it was about as good as Pokemon R/B in terms of gameplay (but Pokemon was THE hype). I agree with adding/considering Banjo Kazooie and A link to the past, even though it's still Zelda franchise.

ocorina of time is number 1 for sure. i couldent stop playing that game. when my N64 broke i had an out of bodie experience. a little bit of me died that day, but was resurected when the wii put it on the online store.

I'm not so sure about lost kingdoms, the concept was good but I found the actual gameplay much too restrictive, plus I had to turn the contrast on my TV waaay up every time I played it because most of the levels are so dark. That was just plain annoying.
Also a little sob story, I had Metroid Prime sitting on a shelf for years and when I finally got round to playing it it started crashing every time I tried to scan something. :(
