maybe there's a reason for the cat being in the cage, seeing its a kitten no less sometimes the elder cats get more aggressive towards the younger ones. i use the cage that i own for the naughty cats who leave a mess in the house. and besides my other cats love the cage though i never close it unless neccessary
guys .. re pets and cages in japan / with most of us living in apts above the first floor and front doors that lead directing outside to the open hallways and then back entrances onto balconys that are very open and hard to pet proof, plus with paper doors and tatami mat floors -- it is REALLY best for pet and home owner for pet to have cage / i am sure the kitty in this video is let out ^^ / just good for them at night and if one is away
Small cats might be kept in cages when they're very young to prevent them from wandering into normal household dangers that older cats would have an easier time dealing with. Think of small kids and playpens.
