Wow, girl, that has to be the best rendition of Hideaway I've ever heard, except for the original. Yeah, Freddie may have written it but nobody plays it like Eric (you being a close second). He was his best when he was with Mayall then Creem. He still had it in Creem and I know he could still play like that but for some reason he doesn't do it any more. You are an inspiration. mxlplex

I 've never heard that tune played on a strat. I play a '74 Les Paul Deluxe and that is one of my favorite tunes to play along with the phonograph cranked playing the John Mayall & the BluesBreakers album out in the shop where I can be LOUD...

Had the great fortune to run into him on the sidewalk in waikiki back in feb '87 the day after seeing him with zz top and run dmc (yes, you read that right, run dmc) at aloha stadium. Got his autograph on my shoe. Stevie was very real and laid back, not like some asshole celebrities I have met. He had a vicegrip handshake.

There seemed to be plenty of live Jazz but I couldn't find any blues while I was over there.

On a side note If any of you are wondering why there is not much activity, a possible reason is that about a year ago after a spat with the Korean government you tube stopped allowing uploads from Korea. Which is a pity as they have many talented musicians

Dang, she almost double EC's parts verbatim. You can hear where she's just behind, or ahead, in places from that chorus\delay type of sound but the notes she's playing are exactly the same. Nailed it on the sliding 6ths part, that's where most players slop it up.
