IMHO, they glorified it too much for my liking. They should have used an uglier, less cute girl. I know of many people who have come away from this movie wanting to be like Christiane F, not that it would make them change their lives but they should have made it uglier and seedier.

Dark,but realistic film about heroin addiction.First saw it when i was fourteen.Love the David Bowie soundtack,especially that haunting piano "sense of doubt" when Christiane finds out that her friend Babsi has died

@ritienne17 i've also seen the movie at the age of fourteen and it really meant something to me. It helped me not to make the same mistakes.. My mom wasn't sure of me watching that movie so young, but i'm glad that she decided to show me the life of an heroin addicted girl, 'cause then i got to know how sad it was to watch our life getting destroyed because of stupid teenaged choices..
