Why is it that all of the Apes, Chimpanzees and Orangutan babies are not with their mothers? I know, so the caretakers can play with them. What a bunch of BS
Alot of the babies are not with there mother because quite often the mother will not look after them and if the baby was left with their mother they will probably die :( x
@4theanimals1 The hell? Most of the babies are born to animals that didn't get a cance to know thier mothers and so don't know how to look after them. And in other cases, captive animals make bad mums, especially in big cats and ape species, these kids were taken away from thier mums after they were rejected and in some cases it was proven they couldn't or didn't know how to look after them.
we went for the memorial open day June 30th and then the next day i spent 2 hours watching amei dinda and hsio ning showing off then ahmei and joly sat and i witnesed such a beautiful moment as she wiped with her lips sleep out of jolys eyes it was beautiful
aww shes adorable. i went to monkey world a couple of days ago and got a short video of a baby orangutan, i think it was Joly. im hoping to adopt her, i got all the form filled out just got to send it off now.
