The reminiscing after seeing the amulet was for our, the gameplayer's sake. Dante knew exactly who he was, which is why he was not surprised to see his face during the final battle. After Nelo powered up, he bore his real face, which looked exactly like Dante/Sparda.
This is true. In fact, I think Dante/Vergil looked just like Sparda. If you consider the ability to unlock Sparda in the first game, he looked just like Dante, only he had slicked back hair...which is in fact the same hair Nelo Angelo/Vergil had when he showed his face. However, since it was the first installment they probably didn't consider all of this just yet.
It is possible that the creators could bring Vergil back because in DMC5 his soul or essence I should say is trapped in Yamato. But I don't think it's necessary because Nero kind of acts as a reincarnation of Vergil.
He creates swords over dante's head he throw them he creates blue power balls he attacks with sword he transports his self behind dante you use infrit with inferno or alastor and fight fight activating devil triggers and make an epic battle in the end you take the amulet and you get the Sparda sword before that...... Memories come in mind ... awesome game
This is one of my favourite ost in the entire game. I've been playing this alot recently and it's one of my favourite fights. I've just beat him the 3rd time on DMD. Which was hard. >.< But I still suceeded. xD
@DARKDEVIL5000 you messed up the line a little.... its "A guy with guts and honor... I like that. But it's a shame you serve Mundus. I just went through that part for like the twelfth time
