  • vietnamese!!!!!

  • I'm a Vietnamese and I pretty much think that every language in this world are beautiful.

The only thing that make people think that our language sound ugly is when we're cursing and swearing.

And yes guy...I have to admit, when it come to cursing in Vietnamese language, it's one of the world ugliest thing that you can't ever imagine yourself listening to.

  • vietnamese sounds seductive...and yes im vietnamese myself lol burmese sounds alrite

  • Tagalog, Malay and Indonesian are all related, similar to how Indochina has some similar related languages

  • I'm a Vietnamese and I love all our neigbour countries!

  • @LongTimeNoEatPho Peace and love to Vietnam, from Philippines :D

  • 1. Vietnamese

    2. burmese

    3...

  • aside from tagalog, i like burmese

  • and "bahasa" is not a language. bahasa means "language" in Indonesia. so if we said, "I speak Fillipino language", then if we use the word "bahasa" it would be like this, "I speak bahasa Fillipino"

So, Indonesia doesn't speak bahasa. We speak Indonesian... :)

  • @callmedhee bahasa in tagalog or Filipino language means I am fluent in tagalog translated as Bahasa ako sa salitang tagalog hahahhaa

  • Malay is Malaysian language... and Indonesia is speak Indonesian, or we called it bahasa Indonesia. Even our language looks the same, but we are different. Malaysia have their own character on their language. And sometimes, maybe the word seems the same, but the meaning are different between Indonesian and Malaysian... so please correct these...

    Indonesia language is Indonesian

    Malaysia language is Malay

    thnx... ^^

  • THAI IS AWESOME ( ^O^ )

  • Filipino is a national language of the Philippines which is based on Tagalog. Filipino is not Tagalog. To see the difference, the word for a chair in Tagalog is bangko, but in Filipino, you can say silya (Spanish load word); the word for plate in Tagalog is pinggan, but in Filipino, you can use plato (again, a Spanish loan word). The Filipino word for science is agham, but there is no Tagalog word for science.

Filipino is a language based only on Tagalog with many foreign and local loan words.

  • @otanix16 no bagko is bench, it's a spanish word & not tagalog. chair in tagalog is upuan.

  • @nenabunena I stand corrected then.

  • please change it before something bad happen,,

because some others people maybe get angry when they see the last one . . .

    so be careful . . .

  • stop it guys , indonesian language do come from the riau province , and the riaus is malay .

  • 1:Tagalog because most of the word that tagalog/Filipino has a spanish language its not like tagalog because im from philipines. Tagalog has more romance language.. We dont just speak tagalog we speak spanish too...

  • @monicats Most words of Tagalog are not Spanish. Tagalog has 5.000 Spanish loanwords, 5.000 Chinese loanwords. While Spanish words focus mainly on elements of power (science, religion, politics), Chinese ones are mainly on everyday life (kinship, food, clothes) There hasn't been a study on the amount of English loanwords in Tagalog & neither has there been a study on the complete Tagalog corpus. In Old-Tagalog most words of power are from Sanskrit. Tagalog isn't related to Spanish& has Baybayin

  • I love my own language... But i think it should be Filipino not tagalog because our national language is Filipino. I think tagalog refers to the language spoken in the Phil's National Capital Region, not in the whole country. Well anyway it's ok. Just wanted to share some information:))

  • @diyohannah Tagalog and Filipino are de iure different but de facto the same. There are no linguistic significant differences whatsoever between those two.

  • Vietnamese sounds like Khmer (minus the consonant clusters & it's tonal instead)

Thai sounds like a mix of Khmer & Lao

Burmese sounds similar to Tibetan in my opinion

Indonesian & Malay, I can't tell them apart

BUT I can tell Filipino Tagalog apart from Malay/Indonesian though

  • @NangDeeSan I agree !

  • That was not malay at the end, that was just indonesian. Like ladysuzaku90 says malay is not the same as indonesian

  • kalau bahasa melayu bahasa malaysia atau bahasa asia tenggara

  • tagalog is so cool, relaxing indeed.

  • @hagwartsz

    biased remark! lol...

pero nung boses na ni marian ang ganda na pakinggan ng tagalog.;)

  • Tagalog sounded real good :o

  • I'm between tagalog and indonesian (or malay)

  • eventho i am a malaysian but i love thai language so much..

  • how come korean language sounds like shitting and flushing the toilets to me?

  • bird chirping ♬ ♪ ♩ chirp ~chirp♪

  • yay go bahasa indonesia !!!

  • Lao!!!

  • indonesian sound the best

  • indonesian so nice

  • how to speak combodian and thai?

    1. hold ur nose with your finger

  • haha use the old Republic of Vietnam flag wtf?

  • you got the wrong viet flag buddy.

  • I think the best language is tagalog. It is a mix of english, spanish and ofcourse tagalog!

  • khmer lao burmese thai tagalog

  • Khmer, lao and Thai sounds very similar even writting symbols too. vietnamese sound very fun but nice lol

  • @92fungfung Oh yes but thai and lao are a tonal languages!

  • @92fungfung philipines used to have handwriting system that is similar to thai, it was used until the 17th century.

  • @MonMon298 similar to thai? or similar so sasnkrit.

  • @joey143anna Similar to Thai in a way that both are squiggly but ot really related. I was meaning the shapes.

  • @MonMon298 i mean't sanskrit not sasnkrit, sorry.

  • @92fungfung Khmer is not a tonal language though !

  • burmese sounds like Korean mixed with Hindi or something......that was unexpected...lol

  • @koala8 That's right, Burmese realy sounds like Korean.... :)

I'm Indonesian, but I love the sounds of:

    1. Burmese, smooth like Korean and Hindi

    2. Indonesian, clear language but not as loud as Tagalog (although rather similar)

    3. Lao, soind nice, not too chopped and nasal-tonal like other SEA mainland languages

    Least fave:

    Khmer: too chopped,

Thai and Viet: too nasal and tonal,

Filipino: although rather musical, it is too hars and loud. Similar to Indonesian Batak dialect

  • i dont understand everything at all =.=" accept for malay

  • burmese, lao, and malay were probably the only ones that I liked.

  • @Nathanielotaku that not malay language .... that is indonesian language !!!

  • that indonesian, not malay. but typical malays can understand indonesian , but not all.

  • malay is not the same as indonesian

  • @ladysuzaku90 actually it is. indonesian is based off the riau malay dialect. still the same language

  • @ladysuzaku90 idonesians speak baharsar right? :D -spams- >:D

  • burmese sounds the best, but i love all of'em

  • very interesting to hear the differences, thanks! Liked the Cambodian, Lao and the Burmese sounds best. Tagalog sounded very musical
