  • PS - This is not even close to the last remaining DeLorean. There are an estimated 6500 remaining functional DeLorean's of 9000 made and more are being built daily by DMC (the new DeLorean Motor Co.) out of Houston TX

  • @nutront The description says only remainind Delorean PROTOTYPE

  • @nutront

that one is the prototype, you should have seen that if you are self proclamed "delorean expert". that one is priceless because it's the very first one ( before collin chapman proto and pilot cars). That's the one they used to make pre production advertisings.

there are a lot of differences between this proto and the production.

  • 1 question WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT

  • Best looking Delorean to ever be seen.

  • That car is probably literally priceless

  • So your telling me that they knew the faded front bumper area was going to look like total crap, even before they went into production!!?? Morons!!

  • Damn that is one sexy car.

  • this car sucks unless u whatch the movie

  • @rebelpilot34 This Car is Awesome, Fuck you! And you spelled "watch" wrong, dumbass!

  • @ruckelz74 i know more about cars than u BITCH

  • You guys are all retarded... your suppose to play teh video again backwards for the full effect.

  • damn, those glistening stainless steel panels look sexy as hell.

  • 360 degree, damn, ive been going wrong for years then!

  • 1977 is when the first prototype came out

  • Itaildesign rules!

  • lol 180 then reverse

  • haha 360 my ass

  • Retard !

    Deloreans rule !!!!!

  • die

  • SUck a cock

  • Its a work of art!

  • i like the wheels and the apparent overhang above the headlights (seems different IMO from the production model) but.... the interior colour SUCKS and I much prefer the rear of the production model

  • I like deloreans but the fans are anal

  • Comment removed

  • WOW. I like this even better than the production DMC-12, and that's saying A LOT.

  • lol, you do know what 360 means right?

  • Another way the prototype differs from the actual car is the engine cover and the trunk. The trunk on the actual car opens away from the windshield, not towards it, and the engine cover opens towards the car, and has the louvres above it.

  • Where is this one at? is it in a museum? or is it one of those "traveling exhibits?" 'Cause I would LOVE to see the prototype! In my opinion, the prototype really only differs from the actual thing due to the interior. other than that, they pretty much look the same. lol. DeLorean RULZ!

  • I'm glad someone saved that car. That car has so much history to it. Johnny Carson sat in that car when Delorean was convincing him to be an investor.

  • Give it a good polish with some metal polish like "Autosol", that will bring any DMC up like that. You must be careful though, prolonged use will actually remove the grain. As tonidmc said though, nothing will beat a professional rebrush. But keeping it scratch free is harder than keeping a painted car scratch free........

  • Those are the original rims for that car. This is the DeLorean DMC-12 Prototype from approx. 1976.

  • Do a good rebrush by an expert and you will have that. Mine looks like that

  • It's too bad John Delorean couldn't get everything into the production model, the prototype has things like tire pressure indicators.

  • not too keen on the color of the leather, but that stainless shine is awesome. still amazing looking for a 23 year old design.

  • This particular car is 32 years old.
