  • i dont have bridge, is there an easy way to do this without it?

  • According to the Adobe Forums thread 836717 it looks like this is new to CS5, so not available in CS4.

  • This would be great if my photoshop has the same toolbars this guy seems to have as default. I can't find the damn minibridge.

  • I can't seem to get this right. I add the filmstrip shape, but it isn't black ... it's outlined in black and empty. It also seems to be on the wrong layer and won't do the reflection. Can someone help me?

  • Do you Photoshop the images first so that they fit exactly into the film strip?

  • @elord27 yea just resize them

  • Great Tutorial! I've tried this in CS4, with good luck. However, CS5 is much easier. Thanks for the tip. If I keep watching your tips, I am going to have to buy/UPGRADE to CS5.

  • Sweet thanks alot :D

Please tell whether the these shapes are found in photoshop cs4 as well,

    I've been using cs2.

  • @adamisoke No problem, just click and drag a corner handle to resize image for film cell. Click the tick when it fits.

  • nothing special

  • Congratulations but sorry to ask. Where is the concept of 20 in the video?

  • @jmgcg What number is on the ice cream hut?

  • @PhotoGavin did´t notice :-).

  • Bob Ross of CG

  • @Postmortem88 Sorry, but no. Definitely NO. No comparison. Not in a million years... What happens to people these days that get all excited with basically nothing?

  • Thumbs up for Gavin!!!

  • congrats

  • And that was in less than 2 minutes! :) 'Amen!

  • nice!!

  • Great technique! I love the way you use custom shapes.

  • I was going to criticize how you were doing this because there were a lot of destructive steps, but then I realized what you were doing and it couldn't be done any other way really.

Cool tip, I never thought of. Doing it this way. :)

  • @AdamKaoru It is a cool tip, but The reflection could have been done in a way thats not destructive at all! Using a mask you don't destroy anything.

Using a linear gradient from transparent to black, click the mask layer while on the layer of the reflection and start the gradient at the bottom. This way you have the same effect for the reflection without erasing a single thing! :)

I was only suggesting another way of doing things. Well done, Gavin! Congratulations on winning! :)

  • @booyaka3

Yes but then when you warp it the transparency would still be linear and would not follow the warp.

  • @AdamKaoru Non-Distructive the the way to go, but not if you HAVE to do it in under two minutes!

  • This is rubbsh !

  • @Tomymdobson lol
