Super Nova is just a WEAKER version of "Fallen One" or "Heartless Angel".

Super Nova does 93-point something % of each characters current life in damage, rounded up to nearest whole point.

Fallen One/Heartless Angel can never kill you, while Super Nova can kill you if you have exactly one hit point.

In spite of the huge damage on the first Supernova, if he did it consecutively it would take 6 Supernovas to kill a max HP(9999) character...

Anyway after I decided id become a god in this game (and ohh I did I have every possible thing you can think of) I got kotr and realised it just made te sephy fight boring. Oh man I hated that attack, it was the reason I never finished the damn game ! Sepiroth just kept doing that stupid attack over and over again. I could seriously go to the bathroom and get my self a drink and still be back at the computer before he finished the attack.. If anyone also doesnt know, this attack wont kill you. It only reduces your health to 1hp on all characters, forcing you to use the next round to heal up. Then he does it again ! zzzzzzz

Well because if he does this attack while someone is on 1hp, that character will die. But if it is on 2hp it will only be reduced to 1hp. ( If I remember correctly ) So you have to use the rounds to heal up between. Which doesnt really help the problem this attack creates, time wasting !

@trevarfran Overrated to current tweens playing a game that came out on PS1. This was one of the best games to come out on PS1 as an RPG. I bought my PS1 because of Silent Hill, what made owning it worthwhile was FF7 and Siphon Filter. You can look at this game currently and say "WTF!". Back then it was greatness. (Before the "I am 30 and played it, it sucked", then you dont play RPGS. It was an epic game.

@MisterBreezer i grew up playing good games, while FF7 was probably a little before my time, i didn't miss a lot of good games (mostly on the N64 and PS1) Mario 64, star fox 64, OoT, Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie. Also i must say that while CoD and Halo suck now, you cannot deny how cool they were when Modern warfare 1 and halo 1-2 came out. halo: combat evolved deserves all the praise it got. i was perhaps a bit too harsh and extreme in my first comment, but i still do not like the FF series.

@Emptypiro later on in the game you start to love the timer, because you need time to scroll through your attacks and summons. Honestly I usually don't use kotr or long summons since they bore me from seeing them so much but you only have to see this awesome attack for one fight. He usually can only cast it once or twice before I kill him. But this move takes 97% of your health and causes status ailments. I've died many times from a confused character killing everyone from this move.
