the company that owned xfm got taken over by Global radio - and their main station in england is Galaxy, so they replaced it.

I miss xfm scotland too!!

CONTINUED FROM TARTANBAWS just cant see a market for that in scotland, its like kidding on its sunny outside when you know its not, get real..oh yeah its a sad day when thats better and gets more listeners ,and clyde mostly keep it local 2 . having said that i notice 1 or 2 shows getting networked which mostly means crap radio for the listener. so why not just listen to radio 1 or 2 if u want national radio cause thats the way so called LOCAL radio is heading, Am i talking pish ?

Soon to be galaxy scotland yet an other change 1st beat 106 ,2nd xfm scotland and now galaxy scotland . Maybe you should stick to what it says on the tin style, plus keep it mostly scottish and local phone inns instead of some place no cunt has heard of with a strange accent.
