@br4ip Thanks, though personally it could have been better, but there was quite a few limitations I had at the time, so it couldn't be helped. But thanks. :) You may be interested to see some of my Watership Down themed videos. You don't have to, I'm just saying that I made a few. :)
I think this was the video you meant, you did a great job emphasizing on Bert and the concert scenes were an excellent touch, Bert actually looks like he's really singing the chorus! Nice job :-)
@jconifer7 Actually it was the Run With Us video. This video is OK, I just wished I had more footage of Bert to use, instead of using still images. But thanks for the kind comment. :)
@David315842 Oh okay, yeah that was a wonderful video as well, I just happened to take interest in this one just because the song you used was more of an original choice, it's just part of my pop music interests. But anyway, you're welcome :-)
@jconifer7 LOL, Well making a video set to the show's theme song, which in itself is a New Wave song, seemed to be the logical thing to do. Especially since the show had a growing fanbase online. I just thought Hip to be Square suited Bert's easy going personality. Thanks again, Oh FYI you're certanly are the king of the Rupert themed AMV's. :)
@David315842 Yep, but that's because I'm the only one who seems to make them. It would be interesting to see a Rupert AMVs made by someone else just to see a different kind of idea. There actually was one made a month ago using annual illustrations, I can send you the link if you want to see it.
@jconifer7 You can send the link via PM if you want to. I guess people would make their own Rupert AMV's, except of course it's hard to find the episodes. :D
In '87, Bert released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
@SouthshoreVice Your facts are a bit off. First of all the song was released in 1986 (acording to Wikipedia, though I'll admit if tht's wrong, as sometimes people do like to mess around with facts on Wikipedia sadily). But the group is Huey Lewis and the News. Bert raccoon had nothing to do with the original recording! He was just the character I chose for the video, because I thought it suited him.

Thank you. Of course that last little bit was paying homage to a particular abridged series. :D Oh yeah you should check out a video (if it's still on YouTube) where Seto and Mokuba Kaiba recieve a letter from their father and Mokuba rounds up a list of possible suspects and Cyril Sneer is one of them. :D
Well what youdescribed was Kevin Gillis' excues as to why Bert's nose is bent, however with the introduction of later Raccoons with bent noses (Bentley etc.) it could be that he was born with it. There was no official backstory for Bert's nose.
You haven't seen the show indeed. There's a young character called Bentley who also has a bent nose like Bert's. Perhaps you should watch the show foirst, before making asumptions.
You would have to watch the show to fully appriciate this video. The video is a tribute to the character 'Bert Raccoon', who has a vivid imaganation and a real taste for adventure...and peanut butter. Bert never rode around on a bike with a sword as far as I know, LOL!

Yeah. You seriously rocked the video making dude. I think it would of worked with Huey's "Walkin' on a thin line" too. Both are awesome songs, but this one fits Bert better.
Wow! That was some pretty good editing there, I'm impressed. Though seeing alot of repetitive footages in the video isn't really my cup of tea, but I will say it fits well with the video. Awesome job :D
hmmm... good point. I understand that finding footages of any retro shows like the Raccoons isn't really easy to find on the internet. So no worries, the video is still great :D
the video is awesome! i just have to post this: (from Family Guy) Meg: "Oh No! I'm missing the news!" Peter: "It's OK, we all miss the News, but we have to be patient until Huey comes out with new songs".
The song brings me all the way back to the 80's because the 1980'and the 1990's were the best decades ever in television, music, movies, commercials, fads, toys, fasion etc.
Raccoons + Huey Lewis = EPICNESS

David315842 3 years ago
Indeed. That Bert bloke is wild!
Raptormon132 3 years ago
Why is Bert's nose bent like that? One too many collisions with trees and it's broken? I've just always wondered why it's like that.
graywolf7 3 years ago

David315842 3 years ago
I don't know very much about this show, but I think the bent nose is one of 2 thing:
1. The way they thought of drawing them.
2. To show age because I've seen a couple of clips of this show & the older raccoons have bent noses like Bert's.
Raptormon132 3 years ago
