i did this same thing with my nerf gun, i did it a little differently, its more powerful and accurate. First off, if you use a pen, cutting it down will make it less accurate. Second, if you take it apart and install a more powerful spring, it will be alot more powerful, and if you're serious about it, install an airsoft inner barrel for greater power and more accuracy

i did the same except i removed the inner air restrictor, streched the spring, removed that huge top cocking green piece and added a metal rod with a rubber band and instead of that plastic thing i used a simple straw and my gun is almost as powerful as my friends airsoft desert eagle

I made a BB sawed off double shoty by putting electrical tape around 2 darts about 1 mm thick & jammed them in their shells to saw off the barrels it's pretty obvious I used a saw blade or a cutting tool actually I got a cutting tool 3 days later now back to the shells you just put 1 or as many BBs you can in them make sure the air restrictor is out & get a skewer(shish-kabob stick) if your using 1 to tap it in there I moded the storage compartment so the BBs wouldn't fall out with tank tape(d

Then shoots the bb´s very hard. If have this one to. I have modded the gun and now shoot the gun about 356 FPS. isn´t that very strong.
