I live in a U.S. territory and all the radio stations where I live play mainstream music, reggae/island music, or old music from the 80s and 70s. So I have to actually search on the internet for any new rock music. In fact some of my friends have never even heard of the band, "Staind". They only know the rock bands that are always in the mainstream radio such as Nickelback, Coldplay, and 3 Doors Down.

Deftones appeal to an older age group I think. Its not the exposure but the change in musical taste in the recent years.
