normally i can't listen to these bad quality videos and tracks, but this is TOTALLY AWESOMEEE! I don't give a toss about the quality, I love everything by this group on Youtube!!!! Bloody wicked, love ya :D:D:D:D
I really enjoyed the performance. I love the arrangement. Unfortunately, the alto part really overpowered the bass; so it sounds unbalanced. Also, there was tempo problems in the first half of the song. Though, I can tell that the arrangement is rich in harmony.
What happened to the "aahahh" part after "Now witness.." That girl in rehearsal nailed it beautifully and now in the performance it's not there. To a guy who knows this song backwards and forwards and inside out like myself, this omission is glaring. But on the other hand your singing my favorite song, so who the hell am I to complain?
what happened was the performance happened a good 3-4 months before that rehearsal video. The show was right after we learned the song and the rehearsal is after we re-worked the arrangement to suite our new memebers. When the CD comes out, I promise you it will be there
This is REALLY well done... great thing is you look like you're having such a good time doing it! You're just scratching the CSN surface - maybe Critical Mass?
As a long time CSNY fan, I have to say bravo for choosing this song, and for doing such a great job with it. The song is around 38 years old, which makes it probably twice the age of anyone in this ensemble, but quality music lasts. I'm quite sure at least two members of CSNY, (if not all four) will see this video and I'll bet they will be touched by it.
