To be honest, this movie didn't suck, it could've been better and I was pretty heavy into far cry so wasn't happy they changed the story line dramatically. but I don't regret seeing, made me laugh, good fights and the preds... not what I wanted but still pretty bad ass, once ship gets blown up it becomes good movie, but if haters could watch more then 5 mins instead of going back to jail bait porn

Video games can be movies they have great back drop story lines, Doom for example they could have done soo much more with it. They tried to follow the game too much, if someone is to make a game into a movie they have to play the fucken game, i highly doubt any of these producers and screen writers have played them so they dont understand what made the game work and what the fans want to see.

I saw the movie on netflix and I have to say I wasn't impressed, but the movie was ok as it had some aspects of the pc game in the movie. I didn't really expect it to be a carbon copy of the game; I would have like to see it taken place in a more tropical location, but it was a low budget film. I give it 2 stars out of 5.
