Love Kiss, Beth is my favorite, worst concert i went to, not because of KISS but because it was at Alpine Valley, WI and raining, cold and the guy I invited from WI that I had met there at a Motley concert was paying more attention to my roommate. Yes I was jealous. Geez that was like 20 plus years ago when Motley filmed Same Old Situation Video, that was the best day of my life. Still remember the guy, Mitch Schumacher from Eau Claire, WI. He was a cutie.

This was my first KISS concert. It was June 1979 at the Carolina Coliseum. After a successful Alive II tour, KISS knew the bar had been raised for their shows. The Dynasty stage was flat and streamlined, which allowed them to run around on. The highlight, IMO, was when Gene flew to the top of the stage to perform God of Thunder. Awesome.
