Um, this is not at all the way the piece goes. To be danced, using the steps given in Arbeau, the stops and pauses as sung here would be impossible. It should flow steadily so that the steps can be done easily and without hesitation. The singers are good enough, but the director's decision to impose an undocumented stylistic approach to the work is unsupportable.

I like it too!!...what do you mean "the others"?...others versions or others pieces from the same choir?... The "pavane" is a little slower but not too much, indeed I've been criticized for the choice of "tempo"... but I can realize there are some people that appreciates it!. Thanks again!...

yes, i sing bass. but i'm too young a bit :/ i am 15 years old, so... i dont know, i dont want to spoil my voice before time :)

Merci de ton commentaire. Effectivement le pavana est un peu lente mais la mienne est un choix dû au fait qui les choristes ne sont pas professionnels et eux ne réussissent pas au bien tendre les respirations. Prochainement nous le ferons un peu lent. Vraiment un peu!. À bientôt!

Jolies voix. Le rythme "original" de la pavane n'est pas respecté mais c'est tout de même agréable à écouter.
