When I went about invoking from The Goetia, the Spirits I raised appeared in Hellenic armour: when they raised their helms not crow headed mediaeval nightmares did I behold but Grecian beards and still wonder without thought awaiting. I am still hanging out to get my copy of that Die Haut EP though.
My Dad used to play the original version of "Sad Dark Eyes" on the stereo while I was growing up. It brings back memories. I'd have to say that the early 90's was probably when Nick Cave was his greatest both musically and visually.
ShiAkaShi is correct, both songs are on Die Haut's 1993 'Sweat' CD. Pleasure is the Boss and Truck Love were also released on Die Haut's 1983 CD, 'Burnin' the Ice'. I know of no other recording of Nick doing Sad Dark Eyes. They are available in various formats, vinyl, CD.

@blusennent
I prefer the original version of "Sad Dark Eyes" by "The Loved Ones"
It has a haunting, understated feel to it.

During Sad Dark Eyes, my cat let out a outrageously loud squeal... it would seem she shares my taste in music.

This was released on Die Haut's live album "Sweat" and I guess there is no studio version with Nick's vocal (I might be wrong ;)
But! There is a recording with Mick Harvey on "Headless Body In Topless Bar" also great even tho completely different.
