A great idea to make a film out of this poem--though aren't some parts of the poem left out? Maybe parts that would have been difficult to adapt to film. I don't find the poem cryptic at all. It's just a quirkily clever poem that thwarts the reader's expectations. You never know what's going to come next.

I appreciate what your trying to do with bermans wonderful poem which we all can relate to in one way or another. But I think your approach was too much a literal re-enactment of a cryptic poem. Please, don't tell berman about this. BTW, start smoking cigarettes or something because your voice doen't do the poem justice.. just some constructive criticism, you want it right? aspiring obscure film maker

Apart from the drink scene at the begining (I wish he had opened a bottle of milk instead of rock n' roll liquor) there were some nice moments - the hill/blue skies - would have been lovely to have had Mr Berman doing the voice over!

I love this... a supreme work of art... this gave me chills the combination of acting voice and music made this very powerful... what of Matthew Cooper? is he a fellow student or is he professional? how can I hear more of his work?
