I believe from the point 1:32 until 1:52, that Joshua is like to improvise, resulting in some to be liked in some not .... however In my opinion I think it is one of the most masterly interpretation I've heard

@KAPNIZW it may not be improvisation because itzhak perlman played this piece exactly the same way in one of his recordings, of course, it might just be a coincidence.

My heart is always broken by Joshua's tender treatment of this piece. The modulation at the end is so simple and so magnificent, it cannot be ignored. Great post.

I appreciate his gentle approach from 1:32 to 1:52. For some reason it seems most play that part too harshly...not better or worse, just different at that part. Joshua has a nice interpretation of it at that point and it is a breath of fresh air.
