  • @TheNicolas1997 thank you very much :)

  • First Galactus then Parallax. Why do they always have to turn threatening villains into giant clouds.

  • @TheMysteryTheatre Well, at least Parallax looks monstrous and threatening. Galactus was nothing but that, a cloud.

  • the name prallax kinda sounds like a laxative for me

  • @AtticWarrior1994 This one is way cooler than Parallax in the comics.

  • What. The. Fuck is this.

It's like a giant alien piece of poo! Where's the Paralax from the comics?

  • It's a monster.... that looks like its made of shit...

  • The music at the first part was really eagerous

  • A bit like Sand Man from SM 3..GL is cool though.

  • That was so terrible it was terrible.

  • @TheOneWhoPaints agreed

  • spoiler: only worthy scene in this movie... all of this video up here is the best and only worthy peice

  • can someone tell me where's Parallax is the only I see is green lantern fighting a giant shit cloud that has face

  • @1988batmanfan In the movie, Parallax is the giant cloud with the face.

  • cgi looks terrible

  • When Godzilla comes give Parallax a phonecall I'm sure he will sort it out easy!!!

  • how the hell did parallax get so huge!!

  • If I saw a cloud of shit that shoots piss lazers at me, I would run too.

  • "You are afraid. Gooooood...."

Creepy villain, has to be said. Creepy and gigantic. And yellow.

    Bad combo.

  • Parallax likes to go om nom nom nom.

  • THIS IS MY FUCKING WORLD EAT LEAD BITCH

  • Parallax looks like the shit that comes out of my ass after eating taco bell

  • You cut the best part out!

  • Sinestro was on point, he character and the actor chose were spot on...

  • worst effects ive ever seen

also the silliest most cheesy thing ive seen since power rangers, but power rangers was better

  • @ElWiiTard That sounds incredibly stupid even by DC standards. I guess they couldn't have their hero actually make a decision to become a villain and then later, after dying and becoming the Specter, be redeemed. Typical "Anakin Skywalker Syndrome": a person doesn't become evil but is possessed by evil. Personally, I'd rather the movie have Hal become GL, trained by Sinestro, take on a decent villain whereby Sinestro turns to the yellow power of Fear, climaxing with Hal fighting Sinestro.

  • My God, the critics were right, Green Lantern does end up fighting a giant Yellow Diarrhea cloud.

  • Wasn't Parallax the villain that Hal Jordan becomes after seeing his city, Coast City, nuked by Mongul during the "Reign of the Supermen" series?

  • fuck, the cgi looks like ass

  • $5 footloongg at SUBWAY!

  • Anyone else notice the Subway sign? Not very sutble

  • Damn if the HULK was here.....

  • So he has a ring that grants him the greatest force in the universe, the ability to convert imagination to reality ...

and he uses it to create catapults and giant springs... It's like he's trolling Parallax by defeating him with hideously ordinary contraptions.

  • that is not the look of parallax it should be like a prehistoric FishFace

  • Yes let's all get out of our cars and watch as the swirling fart cloud of fear engulfs our city

  • I just saw it and it was the best hero movie Ive seen this year =D

  • @Orangefan1ful

ha ha ha ha and I thought my jokes were bad

  • He looks like that shut I took last night.

  • that has terrifying goddanm face

  • hahaha, wow the special effects suck balls.

  • BEWARE I LIVE

    I HUNGER

    I AM SINISTAR...uh PARALLAX !!!

  • hahahhaha goddamn this looks so cheesy

the fucking animated movie wasn't even this cartoony

  • AHAHAHAHAH this is so funny bullshit movie hahaaa

  • ... Bright as day, dark as night, no evil shall escape my sight, to those who worship evils might, beware my power.. GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!

  • @TheNicolas1997 wrong

  • @TheNicolas1997 Fail

  • @TheNicolas1997 Hey man, I don't mean to be an asshole, or to piss you off, but it is:

In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night, not Bright as day, Dark as night

  • @TheRockingTK dude, i saw this movie at the cinema for 6 months ago, i dont care that much but im pretty sure thats senttence that i wrote was correct im gonna find that out i can link the real in a comment later

  • @TheRockingTK you were right, congrats, lol

  • Comment removed

  • dude this movie was sick. i don't give a crap about stupid critics. oh and by the way some one should make a video parallax vs galactus.

  • OMG 0:15 slime rushing down how lame and crowd look like their on a power ranger set OOOOPS crowds in power rangers look more real

  • I saw this movie....it was actually pretty good, considering I'm more of a horror-movie-fan than action. :)

  • ohhh my god.... only the trainer made me sleep, this fking movie have to suck-.- a huge dick

  • still like the movie but bad villain choice.

  • I heard from somewhere that this was supposed to be/look like Spectre. .. they messed it up if so..

  • Comment removed

  • @DeathThreatsAndRoses *snort* I believe that was just a rumor. This is Parallax, not the Spectre, and he wasn't even supposed to look like this, he was supposed to be more demonic-looking (I have him on my channel's background. He's a TON creepier-looking in the comic books than on here. Like I mentioned before, they made him look more like a giant fart than anything else. Not exactly the essence of Fear like he was supposed to be...Unless you afraid of bad smells of course. XD)

  • Sorry, I meant to say a gaseous mass of souls. Still looks like a fart to me though, but Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer was worse. You can look and see how I mentioned he actually floated in and made a bunch of rumbling sounds (I actually though to myself in the movie: "WTF? God farted, and now the fart wants to eat the world...Way to ruin a character for me Hollywood -.- ").

  • @SinestrosMight ohh I see. Yeah, I heard in the comics he's a looott creepier. I was just kindda confused, like.. well what's it supposed to be haha. thanks for clearing it up :)

  • @DeathThreatsAndRoses Not a problem. Always willing to help out a fellow GL fan ;-)

  • Very awesome scene, out of a very awesome film. I don't know if any film has so successfully conveyed the feel of a battle of wills in this way. Innately, the film was able to communicate that once Jordan's will grew larger than Parallax, he gained the upper hand and won control of the battle. I definitely wanted to see more after the end of the film.

  • You Guys Wrie Long Comments T_T Anyways Cool Clip =D

  • Heh hey good point. But you have to admit Hollywood is pretty good at making classics into something more badass, or less character like. Example is Galactus. This Parallax is a remake of him.

  • Comment removed

  • Parallax = remake of Galactus? ...Nah! They're two different entities altogether, from two comic universes XD. Galactus eats the energies of certain worlds, but doesn't keep the souls of the inhabitants. Parallax likes to...destroy and kill things. O_o

  • @SinestrosMight Well what I meant was Galactus was just a faceless cloud that eats planets. And in the comics he's an actual alien being with the same characteristic. So DC/Hollywood did a better job with Parallax, they didn't just make him a blob of yellow power feeding on the fear of everything. They actually gave him/it a personality and more character like themes. Since Fear is could based on feeling and personality if one is using true fear against another.

  • @SinestrosMight Comment continues from last reply> Then the entity would have to have a personality. Pretty lazy work with Galactus on Rise of the Silver Surfer in my opinion XD

  • @mac19971 Exactly. SO glad there's someone who shares my opinion!

Just realized, though: They DID give Parallax more personality than they did that fart-cloud, didn't they? XD

  • @SinestrosMight I shared the same opinion as well, your welcome : ) Who's the fart cloud though? Galactus?

  • @mac19971 Yes, Galactus if a fart-cloud according to Hollywood. ¬.¬ Seriously, he just blew in and made a bunch of rumbling sounds O_o.

  • @SinestrosMight LMAO. PARALLAX FTW!!

  • @mac19971 Exactly. Light a match near Galactus, you blow him up...Parallax, on the other hand, would eat the match and blow a fireball back at you >:3

  • @SinestrosMight Pretty much XD

  • Damn he got destroyed haha.

  • Damn. Saw this movie 2 times. The message is the most inspiring thing I've ever noticed.

THE MESSAGE: Use your inner spirit and imagination (Will) in order to overcome your fears. Don't let your fears overcome you, and even take control of you. God Bless Green Lantern. Best DC Superhero that ever lived. Dr. Manhattans pretty cool too. I mean he says he's walked on the sun in Watchmen. And yet the Sun is what killed the Immortal/Invincible Parallax.

  • Comment removed

  • @mac19971 Only if these guys don't go by the comics will Parallax ever stay dead, in which case, they need to find another way Sinestro will "fall".

-Warning! Comic spoilers beyond this point! You don't like it, don't look!-

Sinestro ends up, for lack of a better term, sort of bonding with Parallax to become the start of his own Corps...So yeah, hate to disappoint you, but that big yellow bugger's still kicking! >:D Though I do agree with you on this movie giving out a positive message. :-)

  • @SinestrosMight Wait. The character Parallax is dead. But his powers are still alive back on Oa as the Yellow Power Ring. And I predict in the movie 2 version of Green Lantern. Sinestro is gonna become soemthing just like Parallax. I mean how was Parallax able to become a cloud of fear? Will the same happen to anyone who possesses the Yellow Power of Fear for a long period of time? Or does that only work on the Guardians of Oa. And Lanterns that posses it will only be Yellow Lanterns.

  • @mac19971 I can try to explain it all day for you if you'd like, but trust me, just read up on the entity of Parallax (that's right, it's a living manifestation of Fear. The guy who unleashed it on Earth may be dead, but that entity isn't.). What happens with Sinestro is that he creates the Sinestro Corps, and yes, all the Lanterns of that Corps wield the yellow power of Fear. If you look in my playlist Sinestro's Might, there should be a video that wraps up his fall and rise as a villain.

  • @mac19971 As for it being a cloud of Fear, I think that's Hollywood exercising their "Creative Licensing", like what they did when they turned Galactus into a giant God fart-cloud in Rise of the Silver Surfer ¬.¬

  • like a sumbod e fuck you haters

  • his imagination kind of limited huh...:D....come on ...the ring reacts on the will and imagination...imagine something crazy fool:D

  • he can come up with anything and picks a tiny little shield?

  • @ZanQdo Well, he's an adult. And he doesn't get a chance with Imagination as much.

  • In brightest day, in darkest night

I tell you what that boy ain't right

let those who worship charcoals might

    beware my power, propanes light.

  • my eyes were wide and my jaw dropped when i saw this! =D

  • Suddenly I want Subway. and I want to scream at black women. hmmm

  • idgaf what the reviews were i thought it was fuckin awesome

  • at the end he says in brightest day in blackest night thing ive seen the movie its pretty awsome

  • ha i lie how he gets that turret from ww2 and blows the shit outta parralax

  • Comment removed

  • les effets speciaux sont pas terrible serieux avec un budget de pres de 300 millions de dollars il orai pu faire mieux

  • lol is that a flood of doo doo or something? should they let aqua man take care of that,

  • The CGI looks like it's from the SYFY channel.

  • EXIDED!!!!! I know i spelled tht wrong but you know what i mean, im EXIDED!!!!!!!!

  • They got the concept of Green Lantern right. He can make things morph with his ring.

Parallax looks like a big tidal wave of diahrrea.

  • cgi looks fine to me

  • This looks bad, I want it to be good, but it looks really really bad.

Terrible CG, disgusting camera work and that black lady's acting was horrid!

  • @dre2you I honestly don't see what's so wrong with the CGI or the camera work. Maybe it's because of how fast paced the clip is, but neither the CGI or the camera work was distracting enough to pull me out of the scene. I wasn't bothered by the black lady at all since the camera doesn't stay on her long enough for me to seriously focus on her acting, as is the case with most movie extras.

  • @dre2you Oh COME ON, she was an extra!

  • @wc1hater She was terrible. When a movie extra is given dialogue, even if it's just one word, then the extra becomes an 'Actor'. Everyone knows that, except maybe the director of this film.

  • i would shit my fucking pants if i was fighting that thing

  • @WhiiZhei dude watch it on 3D and yo would do that O_O and i did that and my hands was freaking cold

  • @WhiiZhei then i guess you dont have the will...

  • yellow shot was pretty hot! ;-]

  • he screams loud

  • What !? this is an AWESOME clip!! At least he's not generating a giant fist like always

did in the old cartoons. and yes Hal Jordan was the first of the human green lantern corp.

  • isnt the green lantern supposed to be black?

  • @Jayelem1122 That's like asking "Aren't all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles suppose to be Donatello?" There are more than one Green Lantern and more than one human Green Lantern. The black Green Lantern is named John Stewart and comes after Hal Jordan--Jordan being the one this movie is about.

  • This looks awesome. Fuck the haters.

  • @Feadpool2112 That's the spirit. FUCK haters!!!!

  • @Feadpool2112 Not hating, just nerd-raging a bit over how he's a giant cloud, and not a solid entity like in the comics. I do agree it looks a lot better than what most comic movies crank out, though. :P

  • Excuse me, a moving mass of souls. Still creepy (sort of), but I wanted to see a mouthful of sharp teeth rearing up and getting ready to chomp on Hal!

  • All the things he makes with his powers are so BORING.

  • THIS CG IS KILLLINGGG ME it looks HORRID. UGhhhhhh. I hope its god though.

  • i also just got a hankering for subway and i have the urge to buy something made by LG

  • why did they focus on that fat black woman?

  • Comment removed

  • @Chronolyse LOL

  • 5 Dollar foot long baby :D

  • Nice to see that the civilians are sitting down to enjoy the movie too instead of fucking running, but okay.

  • God, I hope these aren't the final special effects. I really, really do.

  • @jacksonwilliams19 The effects are quite good. What I don't like is Hal's suit, specialy his mask.

  • @RealRiotTV Yeah. They're pretty good, actually. It's really just the part where he runs into the big truck that gets me. But other than that, yeah, they're actually pretty great!

  • @RealRiotTV Sorry, I meant the van and the car, not the truck. (Near the end)

  • @jacksonwilliams19 Oh, didn't saw that too.

Well, it's bad, sure. But I still hate his mask more xD

  • @RealRiotTV I just saw the movie, and I've gotta say... those effects ended up looking freakin' awesome! Even the mask didn't look god-awful!

  • @jacksonwilliams19 I'm in Europe and we have to wait a little more here... Just one little spoiler: Is it true that Guy Gardner and Clark Kent do cameo appearences?

I'm glad the effects are convincing!

  • @RealRiotTV Nope. I was totally waiting for that, too! I remember them saying that would happen, way back, but no Guy or Clark. :(

  • Is this another sequel to The Mask?

  • @Colest503 NO THIS IS GREEN LANTERN JESUS

  • @Colest503 Ssssssomebody stop me!

  • @Colest503 Oh yes...because the both have green mask...Very witty. You're too smart for the internet. Get off.

  • @Feadpool2112 Apparently I am too witty for the internet because the joke went right over your head.

  • @Colest503 It wasn't funny to begin with, jackass.

  • @Colest503 OMG i laughed so hard when i see your comment XD

  • I like what I see, but I'm not entirely digging Parallax. I'm thinking the thing's "head" is a bit too anthropomorphic. Something slightly more vague, yet resembling a face would've been more unsettling, imo.

  • Does anyone know whether the film will begin with the Rings being unable to deal with anything yellow?

This clip seems to be from the film's final battle, and it looks like Hal's power ring can affect yellow objects (since the Ring creates a catapult capable of redirecting the Yellow Energy back at Parallax),

  • looks like shit.

  • looks like something you would see in a bugs bunny movie

  • It looks like a children movie..

  • @smeshnievideo tu mama! pendejo! tu mama!

  • @EricVera539 chinga madre, cabron

  • @smeshnievideo la tuya!? camara! jajajjaa pasala! jajajajaja

  • Know a person who has Alheimers?! I do! watch?v=pEG91ITwFGY

  • that explorer failed to deploy side airbags...

  • lmao what the fuck is this

    bomb of the summer

  • AWESOME!

  • @NorthernSoul31 What exactly is wrong with a catapult and springs? He has the power to create create anything he can imagine, and at the moment a catapult was the was a logical option. It grabbed Parallax's attack and bounced it back to him. And he created the Spring through the truck in the air. What do you want? A more darker approach ? Not every movie has to be serious and have no fun/silly(in a good way) moments. The only thing ruining this movie is yourself for finding silly problems.

  • @NorthernSoul31 he's not a cloud okay, look closely at what he's made of and what's moving in his body it's quite interesting, and this is stuff out of his imagination come on now!

  • Seriously? why the hate? i get it, its your own opinion but i dont care what any of you say. This looks amazing, the more clips their coming out with and what their showing us is amazing, and i def. think that the story is gonna be really good as well. Whenever the movie comes out and if...and i mean if the story sucks (which i dont think it will at ALL) but if it happens then you can bitch about it. otherwise everything that I'm seeing for Green Lantern looks absolutely amazing.

  • @NorthernSoul31 I sort of agree... it's too silly for me :P

  • @MaybeYesNo90 Silly how? What a movie with the tone of the Dark Knight? That's really the only reason to find thissilly. This movie looks like exactly what it needs to be, a fun and awesome Green Lantern Movie.

  • @TEKITOcreations Silly as in them flying around in skin-tight (Robin-esque) green suits that light up and then they just imagine stuff appearing as defense mechanisms: A catapult etc. Probably a power of their's but still...

There's a big brown smoke beast with an angry face yelling at everyone.

Like it or not, that is my opinion.

If you're saying THIS has the tone of TDK then I have to say you are gravely mistaken.

  • @MaybeYesNo90 Correct me if I'm mistaken, but in your first comment you said this is the this is the kind of stuff that is not appropriate for a Green Lantern movie, now you're saying that them wearing green suits, creating catapults, and having imaging powers are silly? That's all in the comics. Also, he's not just some screaming cloud, he the embodiment of fear and destroys entire worlds. This part is better than the comics, were he's a giant bug, not very original either.

  • @TEKITOcreations I did not at any point say that the green suits or the smoke monster were inappropriate for the Green Lantern. What I meant was that I, personally, don't like it very much. That's pretty much it, it's just not my taste, I guess.

  • @MaybeYesNo90 So you're basically saying that you;re not interested in a Green Lantern movie because you're just not a fan of the Green Lantern in General? Well if that's the case, that is perfectly fine, but your first comment makes it sounds like they made a bad Green Lantern movie. I'm not a fan of Captain America and the movie doesn't interest movie, but the reason it doesn't interest me is not because they're making it wrong, it's just because it's a character I'm not into.

  • @TEKITOcreations Here is EXACTLY what I mean, since it seems like I'll have to spell it out for you: BASED on THIS FOOTAGE I see VERY LITTLE that impresses me about this upcoming movie. It does NOT look like THE KIND OF THING I WOULD LIKE to watch.

And I'm not a fan of Grenn Lantern, I barely know anything about it. And please refrain from saying that "I shouldn't form an opinion unless I am familiar with the source material" or something. From this footage, IN MY OPINION, it looks unimpressive.

  • @MaybeYesNo90 My friend, you are taking my comments too much like an attack. You're pretty much repreated what I just said about you not being a Green Lantern fan and how It's me not being a Capt. America fan. If you're not interested in a GL movie, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. All I'm saying is that your first comment did make you seem like a person who thought this movie is not giving GL justice. It's not a problem with the movie, it's just that you're not a fan, which is ok.

  • @TEKITOcreations Riiiight..... you just suddenly became so nice and commodious, what's with all these comments, then?? Lawl, I had to repeat what I said to make you understand what I meant about not liking this: Simply put, that I don't like it :)

But it seems you understand that now, so I'll leave it at that.

  • @MaybeYesNo90 Dude come on. Do we have to make it seem like were trying to make each other look dumb? I clearly stated that I fully understood your position before you repeated. I stated how you probably felt about the comics and the movie and how I felt the same about Capt. In a way in that reply, I was admitting that I ma have been wrong on how you viewing your comment in the first place ("may." I still feel it meant something else, but if I'm wrong, I'm honestly sorry)
