Carsten Holler at the Tate Modern

They brought that slide to Australia. I went on it today. :D Twas fun.

I also went on the holler slides. The tate modern is usually full of rubbish with the odd awesome sculpture, and interesting peice. I must admit that when the slides were up, was my best visit ever. Since then I have only really found a few peices that have caught my eye. *Sigh* Mordern art seems to lack co-ordination and thought, it often bores me so.

I went there ^^ Oh that partz now changed into Dominique Gonzalez Forester Turbaine Hall now. It jsut has a big screen, bunk bedz and bookz. But itz great i had to do a course for 2 dayz on it at tate modern =]

I bet you're the sort of person who goes to the tate modern and stares at a canvas painted in a single colour as though christmas came early.

If art can't be fun then there's no point in doing it. Regardless of how serious any works by any artists are (and will be) they wouldn't have created their works unless there was some form of enjoyment in doing so. Therefore... shut up.

Sometimes it's because they have no other way of getting their emotions across. Other people have music, poetry, writing etc.

Art doesn't have to be fun.. It can bring out many emotions.

im so going there! ps i have a piece of art for sale,its a meat cleaver covered in a 1000 plasters floating in a vat of formaldahyde,if intrested its £90,000 or would swap for a good classic mini :D
