  • awsome song...simply incredible...please chek out our song God Created Earth, We Created Heaven!

  • Their music can describe anything and everything

  • That ending gave me chills. that was so amazing.

  • Take 15 deep breaths when you listen to this... It's just so relaxing, nothing like it :)

  • Hey, if you like post rock then check out my song Snowfall on my channel :) It's worth a listen

  • this is the first time a song has made me think about life so deeply...

  • At 4 minutes..I cry.

  • @HatersGonnaSkate

this is exactly what happened to me too

This song reminds me of my last relationship and everything that i did wrong

I listened to it for several hundred times now, and still I'm nearly crying at Minute 4

  • 27 people got destroyed

  • It did destroy me... love it

  • This isn't really the type of music that I usually listen to, but I really like this song

  • this inspired Bring Me The Horizon for their next new album. O.o

  • @xAAxBMTHxFTWx That's just... great.

  • @xAAxBMTHxFTWx How can you even mention that band in a comment about this video. I don't care about the relevance between the two. One contains talented musicians that know how to properly compose a song and the other is just a group that relies on generic metal riffs and screaming. You're welcome to enjoy them all you want, but please don't compare these two bands

  • This song + rainymood. com = Awesomeness

(or any This Will Destroy You song for that matter)

  • I disagree with the Bette on CD. Their live shows are where they shine. So much emotion and energy put into everuthing they do. Just listening to their music I can still picture the show happening.

  • Saw them live tonight. They are waaaaaaaay better on cd but still good live.

  • @lynstock I saw them Thursday night in Grand Rapids. Is that where you were? I thought the show was incredible, and sounded amazing. Perhaps your venue didn't have good sound?

  • @YouNeedToHearThis It was in St. louis at a club called "The Firebird" on Tuesday. I think the sound there is generally fine but TWDY sounded muddy to me.Also, the band seemed bored. I try not to judge a band harshly on one performance but my experience was underwhelming. I am still a fan of the recordings though.

  • Hello Earth Im the Moon.

  • Too much perfection.

  • I don't know who or what Jackson Triggs is and honestly i don't care. But I do know that this song is AMAZING.

  • whooohoooh!!!! postrock on!!!

  • hey guys, do us a favour and check out our song?

its on this channel, just click on my name and check out 'subway bonfire'

we're influenced by post rock bands and we want to create beautiful music :)

we are the rest is silence

  • 3.57 is magic

  • @sharkybrown109 Chills up and down my spine every time.

  • i feel like this could just be the soundtrack for my life

  • Check out a new film called THE DEEP FIELD that THIS WILL DESTROY YOU are composing an original score for...

    w ww(dot)kickstarter(dot)com/projects/1560945324/the-deep-field

  • No movie/ad brought me here... only good taste in music [troll]

  • this is so awsome :( <3

  • this song is too powerful...bring me the horizon brought me here no wonder

  • @aceking007 Yupp. This and Explosions in the Sky xD

  • @aceking007 was it from the comments saying this will destroy you and explosions in the sky are going to be heavy influences on their next album? haha

  • @aceking007 fuck BMTH. shitty pop music.

  • destroyed.

  • fucking love this song, i've been listening to it for a year and it rlly helps me reflect on myself

  • @MENTALMANIAK666

Buzz off and go listen to your own faggot music.

  • I first heared This Will Destroy You through the movie Moneyball. I regret every day of my life that I did not know This Will Destroy You. Their music emerges from life.

  • Really cool song. Check out "Death Blossom" from Carta Marina if you like this.

  • Excellent song! There is so much going on in this song if you really listen. There must have been like 40 tracks in the recording or something like that.

  • SHIT! now inbox me haters;)

  • People seem so surprised when they see material like this has so many views and is so loved.

There is a reason, this music acts like a key, people have been so lost and misguided and their day to day lives, they don't know what they like and dislike anymore, they follow, they have lost themselves.

When one listens to stunning music like this, it frees the soul, you feel you have found yourself again, you remember why you are lucky to be alive...And then this is the only type of music you need

  • @Maratgenius Some people like this music, some don't. I don't see what one's soul has to do with anything, nor do I believe that people are 'lost and misguided'. What utter nonsense

  • @Maratgenius

I am happy to see that there are some who believe in leaving a comment that speaks with coherence to the depth and breadth of brilliant musicians and their work...well done.....and truly...music, it is the language of life and the lubrication of the soul...

Happy New Year to all, may you find yourselves surrounded by those you love and those who love you and may you be standing on the edge of a year to come, one filled with love, good health and good fortune.

    PEACE!

  • 24 people dont have anything to destroy.

  • I think that the Jackson Triggs commercial sold this song better then their own product.

  • muito boa essa musica, sou suspeito pra falar dessa banda

  • As soon as I heard this song, OMG. I had to find it..

    such a deep song.

  • @Loveistwilight0 all of their songs

  • Does any of you guys can recommend any song/band similar to this?

  • @mikeesopski

Check out if these trees could talk, god is an astronaut, giants

  • @mikeesopski Explosians in the Sky

  • @mikeesopski Signal Hill

  • @mikeesopski - Anouther band that sounds like this is MOGWAI, Sianspheric is like these guys but more effects and "trippy"

  • This band does NOT need a singer. I have had the opportunity to see this band live and it was absolutely beautiful. Without a singer and lyrics you are able to connect to this in anyway you imagine. With a singer it would suppress one's emotions.

This band is perfect the way it is. End of story.

  • Great music! They need a singer! I'm available!!! :D

  • OMG, chills! I love it. Just plain beautiful...

  • Kept rewinding my PVR just to hear this song!!! Finally Found it:P

  • well I listen this on commercial and I just loved I waited 6 hour more to see this add again and search it and finally reach here

  • serenity.. can listen to this forever and just forget this world ....

  • awesome song..thumbs up if jackson triggs commercial brought you here..

  • @MENTALMANIACK666 you spelled it wrong, faggot.

  • The House Where We Grew Up - Hammock

that song gave me chills aswell as this one

  • Not a fan of Jackson Triggs but now I am a fan of TWDY! :)

  • This genre deserves WAY more attention. Hammock, Sigur Ros, and TWDY.. Support these bands and more.

  • Their name is entirely too apt. It just feels like you're being torn apart by sound. Pure, unadulterated emotion in it's most perfect form: Music. I once read an article that said music would be nothing without lyrics. Hearing this, I think they might want to rewrite it. There could be nothing further from the truth.

  • When listening to a song like this, you kinda have to stop everything that you're doing and just listen.

  • 3:03 gets me everytime

  • If you like post rock/ambient music, then please listen to the song I have up. I'm starting to write in this genre, and I plan on recording more songs this January. Strictly a hobby for now, but let me know what you think anyways! thanks :)

  • a tip on bombtips.com got me here. tip of the day as far as i'm concerned. magic.

  • Best post rock song ever!

  • By far my favorite song by them. This song alone inspired me to write an ambient album, something I didn't EVER think I could pull off.

  • My girflfriend showed me this song. im very thankful now. an amazing and beatiful girl shows me an amazingly beautiful song. :)

  • I do not know what to write.

  • Every single song by TWDY just leaves me speechless.. so beautiful

  • this band is unreal

  • This song deserves more views... woah

  • Best song in the world! I wish I could get more music like this. I listen to this song when I drive my car on a nice coastal rural like road

  • ive had major depression for 2 years it sounds really corny but when i listen to this song everything is light again

  • the first time i heard of this band I could'v sworn it was going to be a heavy distortioned screamo band

  • I heard this on the Jackson Triggs commercial and looked every where for it.. finally found it :') So happy

  • @l0velauren same ahahah lol

  • @MrFuckurcouch So much joy! haha

  • @l0velauren love it toooo :)

  • Why the hell am I just hearing this amazing music?! I heard this song on the Jackson Triggs commercial 3 days ago and have been searching for the artist since. This song just takes me somewhere else. Love it.

  • 4:00 and on is giving me chills. love it.

  • 22 fags who missed the like button listen to Justin Bieber... It's quite sad to know that there are actually fucktards out there who don't understand this kind of music... You who clicked dislike, i pity you...

  • @Daumex disliked because called his name on this good song

    shame on you!!!!!!!!

  • @Daumex I pity anyone who uses music as an avenue for insult.

  • @Daumex You missed the point of life.

  • I never knew a song without words could affect me so much, until now.

    Deepest song ever right here...

  • Thank you Pandora for introducing me to this band! I have been searching for this kind of soft, emotional instrumental music forever!!!!!! There is nothing quite like it! It just makes everything so much more.... dramatic!

  • Now I'm going to need more coffee.....

  • I was headbanging to this song so fast that I got whiplash.

  • hops^

  • *brain melts* *hopes into 67 fastback* *drives to scenic park* *lays on hood with girl while listening to this*

  • Post rock is not for the masses, because the masses have their brains under-developed

  • When music can paint a million pictures of memories and dreams of the future, you know its amazing...I love creativity.

  • Pretty sure my world just stopped.

I'm huge this will destroy you fan, and I've been sitting and working all night with my tv buzzing in the background and out of the chaos comes the sounds of Threads...

Jackson Triggs wine, and This Will Destroy You? Holy hell, Night made.

    Best. Commercial. Ever.

  • First thing I do when I found out my Uncle just died; listen to this song. This is such a great song.

  • a good friend brought me here and first i expected some dubstepdrop. then i listened and then the drops came from my eyes. i'm almost 32 and i don't know when it was the last time that i felt so alive...

    thanks for destroying me :-)

  • This will destroy you and explosions in the sky really make me think alot. especially about moments that are unforgettable.

  • So I'm only 14 right now and I noticed that sometimes I'll listen to a song that I won't really like and a month or a year later, I'll listen to it again and fall in love. I guess my musical taste is still developing and my brain is trying to understand what I like and what I don't like. To be honest, I like that about music. It is an interesting experience.

  • @youreAfraggle So I'm 24 and I still notice that. Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

  • @youreAfraggle Oh ya, I used to do that a lot. When I was 14 I thought classic rock and "metal" was the only way to go. Its only 6 years later, and I have opened up to just about everything. Music is a powerful and wonderful language that continues to change everything about who I am.

  • łoooł fucking awesome!

  • sometimes the lyrics to music do not cut it for the beauty of the instruments. I am glad that I am given the privledge to make my lyrics to this piece of work.

  • what's this.. there's just one picture durring the whole video...

    there's no one singing...

    and it's 5:42 long...

I wich it was longer! I Love this! :´D

  • Why aren't these guys the soundtrack to every movie?

  • words cannot describe what this song does to me

  • Coming from someone who listens to Drake and Kid Cudi on a regular basis, this song brings me to tears. So inspirational.

  • when do the lyrics come in? what time?

  • @dannordquist nevah :F

  • @dannordquist Not sure if trolling or just very stupid...

  • @InternetJordan nah i guess im just stupid lol, i just saw a bunch of comments that were saying they got the lyrics tattooed on them and other people saying they love the lyrics

  • @dannordquist

    singing would ruin it....listen.....

  • great music. search for "josies porch swing" to hear another instrumental filmed in Iceland. :)

  • what a great pic...

  • Instruments are the best tools ever made because they can repair your soul!

  • I can't believe how beautiful is this song...it's the perfect soundtrack of my life in the last 2 years!! Fantastic!!

  • I put this song on my ipod without listening to it and it came on when I was mowing the yard. near the end of the song i couldn't stop crying it was so weird that's how powerful this music is

  • I was directed here by some guy who commented on my video, and he said I would like them. He was right. This is awesome!

  • I got a tatoo of the tablature.

  • This song makes my insides explode.

  • This music is a virtue. I think if everyone had the emotional capacity to embrace this sound, we'd live in a different world with different people. I really hope it becomes more prominent.

  • this was the first song i listened to when my dog died... brings so many beautiful emotions to the surface <3

  • Goose bumps at 4:30 EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

  • shit song like this will not destroy me anymore. What has electronic done to me?? muahahhaHAHAHAHAHHAHHAAAA

  • 9/6/11 i discovered this song :) and it will forever be on my ipod

  • Expressing such powerful emotion using only music is incredible. Feeling that emotion is indescribable.

  • @TheBiggerSpoon Yet, you're trying to describe it.

  • @cvg1099 ur a fagget

  • @TheBiggerSpoon Very impressive comeback, little one. Expressing your embarrassment using only name-calling is incredible. Feeling that embarrassment is, actually quite describable. It must feel like being you.

  • @cvg1099 also, might be pertinent to mention that he misspelled faggot

  • Someone give me this music, thank you for him that recommend me to listen this music.

    I really like it!

  • BEST TWDY SONG EVER! So powerful and joyfull.

For similar beauty (mix of modern classic and post-rock), search for this new one:

The Inituition - There is no end. There is no beginning.

  • Idk, sadness is all that is here. Funny monkeys listen and say "Oh, plethora of emotions and thoughts!" Nope. Just beautiful sadness. And you all get sad and all your sad memories come in and make some thoughts and other sympathetically vibrating emotions come in and you think it's in this music. Sorry, it's not. Its your reaction added to a sad song. And nobody did great things while being sad. So it's all for nothing. I say chuck it. Kill the members so they don't suffer. Just kidding.

  • Whom ever said words are stronger then sound you haven't heard this. A poem could have a thousand words leading to one meaning, feeling or point. But this, the meanings, feelings, and points are boundless and endless. Such beauty in sound....

  • Thumbs up for the Austin music scene!!!

  • This song is beyond perfect. It conveys so much emotion, and such a wide range of emotions. This song is truly beautiful. I don't understand why more people don't listen to music like this. Phenomenal
