I have been cubing for about 4 months and have cubes 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, a skewb, a void cube, 3x3x1 and a pyraminx, all of which i can solve. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what i should buy next? as I am getting a little addicted :D

@deadmind i know im not monkeydude but i have a few suggestions on cubes to buy next (if you havent already) I think you should think about getting a megaminx, they solve the same as a 3x3 so its not that different. Also consider going higher than 5x5 and getting a 6x6 or even a 7x7.

I'm not saying you're a bad collector, it's just a comment, I own some puzzles but only have "spares" of some... like 3x3 (2 of this), megaminx (2), pyraminx (2), 4x4 & 5x5 (becuase I first bought the rubik set and then bought the eastsheen), square 1 (2) [actually I was going to make a square-2 but I don't have tools to make precise cuts]. I have two crappy 3x3s (a DIY and a piece of S** that I can't even pop a piece to mod it inside)...

I agree with @KaTsnKuBeS, I see the point on having JUST a couple of regular rubiks. I extremely see the point on having a Fisher, Windmill, mirror, hexagonal dipyramid, Ruben King, Shpherd's, super, etc etc.... we all (cubers) know they are just regulars 3x3 with dif shapes or stickers... it's way cooler to have a collection with the puzzles I just mention (around 10, I know there are more, but just to mention) than having 37 regular rubiks, EVEN for a collector it's way too unnecessary

@chrypton1 Whether it is a waste of money or not is only opinion. If I thought it was a waste of money, I wouldn't have bought all of them. But I do not think it is a waste of money. I enjoy collecting puzzles and also enjoy solving. Since a collector wouldn't be happy to stop once he has only skimmed the surface of the possible (2 cubes) I bought more, and will continue to expand my collection until I am satisfied. If you dislike my reasoning or for some reason can accept it. C.M.A.R.

@DarkRocker668 Personal preference plays a huge part in cube selection.

So one person may prefer a Ghost hand, and one may prefer a Haiyan Memory.

Some people prefer store-bought cubes or Type b's.

You never know what people will choose.
