  • @AciDbeHeMotH lol no wonder you believe in ghosts, your christian. dont you see theres no logic behind religions and ghosts. god is like santa claus for adults, grow a brain

  • @AciDbeHeMotH i believe in goblins.

  • @AciDbeHeMotH Yes there are spirits, good and evil. But they are not our ancestors or "ghosts" as such. Evil being fallen angels and good ones being the true angels.

  • @Ergopad Why cant they be our ancestors? We have souls.... We CAN linger on this planet. Every person is living energy... Dont get me started on the religion yer talkin about.

  • @Theofrotus Then don't start with yours. ;) In chistianity the devil is the master of deception, and ALL it wants is to give up the faith. Nothing more, and nothing less.

  • kill a witch with a silver bullet wtf she was witch not a warewolf

  • i live in tennessee. i hate andrew jackson. revenge of the cherokee people, never forget the trail of tears.

  • There is no written proof that Andrew jackson went to the bell home.. He did have land in the area but there is no documented proof.

  • ghosts are REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If Andy Jackson is afraid of something, normal people would be pissing themselves

  • Y all the religious shit??? Did u ever stop to think in2000 years time people will grab harry potter books nd think we were all wizards witches and werewolves?

  • In 1823 the U S Supreme Court handed down a decision which stated that Native Americans could occupy lands within the United States, but could not hold title to those lands.

The Indian Removal Act, was signed into law by President Andrew Jackson on May 26, 1830. Most European Americans favored the passage of the Indian Removal Act.

which paved the way for the forcibal removal of tens of thousands of American Indians to reservations..

  • This is bull. First off his horses stopped not the wheels secondly the Bell witch said & I quote "No one goes through here without my permission" & they FINALLY persuaded her to let them in. I actually DO my research & I'm a purist about this. I don't want Hollywood fucking up the REAL story of my families heartache. It's reprehensible. What did they make off of An American Flop like... 500 dollars? lol. It's so crappy that the people helping w the history can't get their facts straight!!!!!!!!!

  • i hate andrew jackson he was an a hole poor native americans

  • Jackson was one bad boy

  • Wow if the Bell Witch can scare the bravest man ever.... Then I think I may reconsider my trip to Adams Tennessee.

  • @AciDbeHeMotH

Yes, but you also believe in God, who isn't real.

  • Well, in the case of ghosts and the bible, in the Old Testament, a witch is called forth to bring up Samuel's spirit. So obviously there are ghosts/spirits.

  • @dwilson254 As I mentioned, the medium of Endor in Samuel did nothing to "bring him forth". God allowed this to happen. Samuel also predicts the kings death, which happens later in that story. This means that Samuels spirit was in Sheol, not hell. It also means that it would have been his spirit, not a ghost. What ghost can use sociology and predict the future??? This could ONLY happen in God's realm.

  • @dodgepatriot Than what was the "medium" for? A cheerleader maybe?

  • @dwilson254 Well, if you read the story, it says the king sough out a medium to explain why God was not talking to him, and therefore needed a "fortune teller" or "medium" to summon the spirit of his dead mentor and spiritual teacher who was Samuel. It was king Saul himself who outlawed mediums/fortune tellers, and had to disguise himself. He finds this medium living in the outskirts of town (an outcast). Both the king & the medium witness the spirit of Samuel.

  • What many people don't read in the Bible is that, yes I am a born again Christian myself. is that the disciples believed in ghosts. In fact if you read Matthew 14 that's what they thought Jesus was when he was walking on water. Anyway it's angels that take a person's soul to Heaven or Hell. Read the story of the rich man and Lazarus closely.

  • There spirits, but no "ghosts". There are angles & demons, and spirits of persons that have died and still live. Read II Cor. 5:8 There is a place for believers in Heaven, and a place in Hell for those who reject God. There is no "in-between" or escape from either.

There are, however, cases of angels & demons interacting with the physical realm (read Genesis, Daniel, and 1 Samuel 28). But victory & power goes to God over all evil.

  • I totally agree.

  • @dodgepatriot

I am a Christian and my church overall would agree with you. Personally, I am on the fence about it. My previous pastor said that one thing that puzzled him was in Revelations when it talks about God calling dead up from the sea. If after we die, our souls go to heaven or hell, what is he calling up from the sea ???? DEAD FISH ??

  • @ecftube Most people will agree that the book of Revelation is descriptive of things to come. The "ocean", some believe, is representative of the mass (or population). We can read how the false prophet or anti-christ "come from the sea" as well. You have to remember that John was seeing visions, so some of these events in the future would be hard to describe. In Daniel, the world empires through history are described as strange animals, not actual creatures.

  • @ecftube I believe the "calling of the spirits from the sea" is referring to the great judgement that everyone will be present for, past & present...buried & cremated...saved & unsaved. I would also check Strong's Concordance for the greek of "ocean", and check with your pastor.

  • the movie sucked, eh but if you ever get the chance go up there, its pretty boring but creepy at times.

  • i live right beside the property.. in the "durham House" also " Haunted" it can be boring,, but u should try going out round midnight or eleven and really early in the mornings when its foggy.. thats when its a little freaky.. the actual cave is crazy weird and i know some of the living bells.. thay could have made this vid wayy better

  • I'd like to see the proof that Jackson said this statement. He was a Christian and probably didn't believe in "ghosts" anyway.

  • yeah

  • The Bell Witch might be a poltergeist as many researchers claim such cases revolve around a focus, normaly a girl entering puberty. It is believe that this person has the ability of telekinesis, but an uncontrollable ability. In this case, the daughter seems to be the focus and the activity began on the exact day she had her first period. Also, in may other poltergeist cases the person who is the focus is often abused, and the daugher was rumored to have been sexualy molested by her father.

  • she was raped by her father

  • It is only a rumor. Nobody knows for sure.

  • There will be more books and maybe another television show on the Bell Witch. Watch for it!

  • You may not have liked the movie, but it is absolutely true that Andrew Jackson went to the scene in order to see for himself if the rumors were true, that a spirit/demon/entity was harassing the family. He truly said that he would rather go to war then have to face the evil in that house.
