Understanding issues in a society is a positive thing. Oprah has discussed the polygamous sect because that is what is there in the US. This was a great show, and those criticizing English, have to know that it makes commercial sense to be able to communicate in a language that most people in the world can understand without translation. Kenyans speak English because, we were colonized by the British. Should we also stop going to school because the British brought formal education to Kenya.
