After people insisting on this, the producers of the show finally replied with. A Charmed New Generation about 2 guys - Wyatt & Chris fighting the forces of Evil....would be no match for the new hit show - Supernatural with way better graphics and story line.

Yes, Wyatt is powerful, but can't the Power of Three vanquish him, if needed be? I think he is vanquishable. For instance, Cole as the Source got Phoebe pregnant. Now the Source was more powerful than a common whitelighter such as Leo. Nevertheless, when the time came (the Seer stole the fetus from Phoebe) the Charmed Ones vanquished the Source-Charmed breed, the Seer and a whole bunch of upper level demons.
@alonelychild Well, technically they didn't vanquish the Source that time. The Seer just couldn't handle the power of the Source and ended up being destroyed by it. But I see your point.
@jodalita Well yea. But I still think he is vanquishable. One thing that I don't understand is: Leo was a lot more powerful when he got Piper pregnant of Chris than when he did it in Wyatt's case. He was an Elder. Why is that Chris is so much weaker than Wyatt? What is your guess?

@DeathGodRiku Well her powers did develop faster than the other ones and it took her the fastest to control them. It took time for Piper to be able to control it and have the confidence she did. She had to step up as leader after Prue's death. We went 10 years in the future and Prue was WAYY more powerful. We never saw Piper's power to blow shit up just freeze. That's kind of the rule Charmed stuck too the oldest is always the most powerful.After Prue died. It went Piper than Phoebe and Paige.
The way I see Charmed, it has a strong focus and emphasis on togetherness and family dynamics. So as far as who's more powerful than who, I really don't mind as long as they can face that evil together and as one big force. If I wanted a power contest, I'd be watching X-men or something. I love this show, it always has that theme of being together as one and sticking up for one another.

I like how they balance relationsihps and magic, and I like how the theme is "Three sisters who just happen to be witches" instead of "Three witches who happen to be sisters". I like the comic a lot because they picked up where the show left off. Do you read the comics?

Piper got a new power(Molecular Acceleration-it is a controlled fomr of Molecular Combustion, allows her to melt things or burn) and she got a new restraunt, Phoebe's empathy power expanded into Pathokenises, paige has orb shields now, and etc. IT's awesome!
@sn54 Naw, that issue wasn't out yet at the time. Yep she's alive alright more powerful than ever and in the body of a dead witch. But she can't be reunited with her sisters, because of all this complicated mess.

@WyattNyte15 I think a big thing they emphasized is that demons may not really look like that. We picture demons looking ugly or scary, when they seem to really look like us. Even the devil is said to be beautiful & not some hideous monster. They needed to really use their skills because they had to deal with so many varieties of demon, with so many looking perfectly normal.
I know what you mean, though. When Cole appeared as Belthazor, I thought he should have looked more scary-he wasn't to me.
@politelypompous It was said in an interview that part-way through season 1, they decided to make demons more human-like mainly to reserve on budgetting. But I do see what u mean by that.
If you ever get the chance to see Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I HIGHLY reccomend you do), there's a wide variety of demons there too, heck it even goes into detail of whole demensions of demons.

The only time they used special effects and made a demon really scary to me was in The Honeymoon's Over and the judge was really a demon...when he changed, I closed my eyes-he was so creepy!

No you're wrong, if they try to use their power out of condition, they cease to exist.
If the Tribunal uses their power directly against a being of good or evil, they cease to exist, since they are the product of good and evil, hence they would tear themselves apart.Their punishement to pheobe was because she is "good" - and as in the alliance of good, she has to follow the rules. They can just betray the Wiccan raede and turn "evil" - no one would stop them then.
@LordManticore I think there were powers stronger than the sisters-many times they were at the mercy of situations/conditions/entities they had no control over & the entities were clearly stronger. That's the huge reason why various demons wanted Wyatt so badly. HIS power is much stronger than all these entities & they knew once the sisters had him & his powers on the side of good, they were unbeatable. If the sisters were just as powerfull regardless, evil wouldn't be so desperate to get Wyatt.
@MrButler124 Death only took piper for a day to help him, he cannot kill people, he simply goes to guide them after they die, he never killed Prue, but when he died, He went to guide her to the after life.
He cannot harm anyone, because his existence is to guide people to the after life, if he does any other thing he would automatically cease to exist.
Angels of destiny simply protect and foresee destiny, they exist but cannot fight or harm people, or they too will cease to exist.
@MrButler124 Elders are higher ranking whitelighters, they can be killed using dark lighter's cross bow or a power of three spell.
As for the Avatars, the Charmed ones can probably recreate the potion, and i think that by killing one of their core members, Beta [ i think ] it damaged the Avatars permanently, Piper was able to blast them away.

@LordManticore Um no it's not. The series vaguley refer to those kinds of deals, and the books are considered noncanon so I don't think they count. But I think what both of us are trying to say that regardless of what those superpowers are supposed to do and their "limitations", they are still considerably more powerful than the Charmed Ones. & again my point is that the only reason they are more powerful than them is because they do not take part of time & space. They simply exist to fullfill the grand design, it is explained trust me please, and in some interviews the producers said that, also part of the production included a demonologist who explained this. The elders are a normal force of good, and not more powerful than the charmed ones.

Point blank the Tribunal are the most powerful beings in the show(in comics Ima guess Neena and her mate is seeing as how they are outside of the grand desgin). They monitor magic and magical beings to make sure it's not exposed. So even by themselves I'm sure they'd be more than a match. Plus If the can erase any magical being or activity, then that pretty much puts them at the top of the food chain.

Hey everyone just to let you know, Wyatt is not using Piper's power(Molecular Combustion) in this scene. It's a power called Havokinisis(A more destructive and powerful form of telekinisis). In the episode Morality bites, Prue accidently uses it to blow up the attic wall. It speeds up the molecules around objects while moving them, which causes an explosion while flinging the objects. It's really cool power and only him and Pure have been seen using it.
@MrButler124 No that is not Havokinisis, it is Telekinetic Blast [ The ability to send a blast of force energy against the enemy, and unless they are strong enough to resist, they become obliterated / [Force Projection].
@LordManticore naw we both wrong. it's neither one of those. It's an ability called energy waves. Leo as an avatar used it, and Piper's Molecular Combustion power is a limited form of that ability. It disnergrates targets and kills the victim on instant contact. Oh and in this same episode when he turned evil, Piper blasted him clear across the room hehehe so in a way he does have her combustion ablites, but they manifest as combustive orbing, pyrokinesis, and energy waves.

Together in Unity {Power of three} vs Wyatt - They would win, he's not strong enough to effect them while using the power of three, they are not just strong enough to resist attack while in unity, but reflect them.

And No, using the power of three, they gain enhanced high resistance, making enemy attacks ineffective on them, kinda like an absorbing shield. Well, Don't get me wrong, i hate the fact they made Wyatt so over-powered and i do think that maybe they would be draw against him 1vs1.
A collective is when 2 or more people combine their energy into a "seal" for example ; the triquetra, and they share their energy between them - enhancing their power together - however if one of the collective dies the seal weakens and so do they -
@MrButler124 That is because once their power is linked to each other, they are stronger but if the link is broken so are their powers.
In other words being in a collective DOES have risks. [Remember the Avatars?]
What makes them even more powerful is their emotional link, which further enhances all their power, and they are born under an even BIGGER prophecy than Wyatt, and it is the Prophecy of the entire Halliwell Line/Melinda/Whole point of the show.
@MrButler124 When you want to count their power against someone, do so as a collective because that is where their powers lies, not alone.
Also just a reminder; Elders only were able to effect them because they are good, the elders can only effect a person as long as they are good.
In-fact when in an episode they turned evil the elders had to send Leo back, since they couldn't effect them. The "powers for personal use" is a code for being on the side of good, once evil it doesn't matter anymore.
@MrButler for example, when your in a club you need to follow rules or you are punished. However once you're out of the club they can do nothing to you.
The tribunal are just 2 powerful elders and 2 upper ranking demons, they can be defied like any normal elder in the end.
The cleaners exist only to keep magic from being exposed, and are not immune to witch's SPELLS [ neither are the Tribunal ]

I don't know about the comics, i feel that they made so much concentration of the "twice blessed prophecy" and wyatt that they left out the original prophecy, that of the Charmed ones being the most powerful of the haliwel line, which is btw the prophecy of their ancestor.

@MrButler124 Nahh, the only powerful beings the Charmed ones cannot touch is the Angels of Death/Destiny, but that's okay in my eyes, since Angels are there to simply "Function" - and even if the Charmed ones were to destroy half of the world they still wouldn't interfere since its not their Function.
The Tribunal are made of the two most powerful elders, and the two most powerful demons as a collective, now when both evil and good combine themselves the result is final. ex: Tribunal/Hollow

Tribunal/Cleaners - Unless you expose magic/ break the rules (as long as your sided with Good) they can't touch you, even if you dominate the entire world.
@MrButler124 Tribunal/Cleaners cannot interfere with anything since they are made by an agreement of both good and evil, thus they are neutral, no matter what happens, unless magic is exposed, they cannot do anything. If they try to stop the charmed ones from like .. dominating the world, they will lose all their power, since they changed from neutral, and the link and authority between them is forever broken.

@MrButler124 I know what you're saying and I agree. There where MANY situations where the Charmed Ones were at the mercy of entities and/or conditions they couldn't control. Therefore, those powers or entities were stronger than they were.That's why so many demons wanted Wyatt. Now HIS power is stronger than all these entities. They knew once he was on the sisters' side they'd be unbeatable. If the sisters were just as powerful without Wyatt, these entities wouldn't have wanted him so badly.

For all those who think that Wyatt is stronger than the Charmed ones, Yes, individually he beats them and no, if they were to use the full power of three together and he used all his power against them they would over power him, not without being harmed.

@AngemonRulez I love how even though Wyatt's extremely powerful, he also seems very much in control and doesn't just throw his powers around because he has them. He assessed the situation and only stepped in when he really had to which shows how respectful he is of his powers and of their strength and he seems to use them only as a last resort. He seems very controlled. In the future, I think he probably let his mom and aunts try and handle situations before using his really strong powers.
@politelypompous Very true. I've no doubt Piper taught him control cuz she went from a hot mess, blowing up everything in her way, to really having a handle on her powers, even to the point of blasting Christy's arm without causing.....ya know, exploded witch everywhere. ;)

@AngemonRulez Do you remember an episode Piper and Phoebe went robbing a musuem, she blew and froze a security bullet-proof glass? Also, do you recall she froze a demon and unfroze only his head? Or when she - pretending to be Wyatt - blew the air above a demon's left shoulder to lauch him into a frozed energy ball? Or how she blew a plasma ball in an episode where they dealt with a ghost (Richard´s dead fiance)?
@politelypompous I bet that's the reason Chris had so much fun in vanquishing demons. He was rendered completely useless by Wyatt. In the last episode, Wyatt corrects him: "Chris: We were kicking some demon asses...; Wyatt: excuse me, I WAS kicking some demon asses" I bet Chris had throw whatever they were fighting a few meters away, jump to his brother and orb them out. Perhaps, the only time adult Chris saved adult Wyatt

IMO, this is a huge continuity error. Wyatt is clearly stronger than Piper, and yet, the Charmed ones were supposed to be the 'strongest witches of all time'-

The Charmed Ones are supposed to be the most Legendary of all Witches. Plus the Charmed Ones are the strongest of all Witch families. Plus also the statement that the Charmed Ones were to be the strongest witches of all time was in the first 4 seasons. Once Wyatt's conception however the show states that he was to be the most powerful being in all of magic.

@DeathGodRiku Well her powers did develop faster than the other ones and it took her the fastest to control them. It took time for Piper to be able to control it and have the confidence she did. She had to step up as leader after Prue's death. We went 10 years in the future and Prue was WAYY more powerful. We never saw Piper's power to blow shit up just freeze. That's kind of the rule Charmed stuck too the oldest is always the most powerful.After Prue died. It went Piper than Phoebe and Paige.

The way I see Charmed, it has a strong focus and emphasis on togetherness and family dynamics. So as far as who's more powerful than who, I really don't mind as long as they can face that evil together and as one big force. If I wanted a power contest, I'd be watching X-men or something. I love this show, it always has that theme of being together as one and sticking up for one another.

Piper got a new power(Molecular Acceleration-it is a controlled fomr of Molecular Combustion, allows her to melt things or burn) and she got a new restraunt, Phoebe's empathy power expanded into Pathokenises, paige has orb shields now, and etc. IT's awesome!

@WyattNyte15 I think a big thing they emphasized is that demons may not really look like that. We picture demons looking ugly or scary, when they seem to really look like us. Even the devil is said to be beautiful & not some hideous monster. They needed to really use their skills because they had to deal with so many varieties of demon, with so many looking perfectly normal.
I know what you mean, though. When Cole appeared as Belthazor, I thought he should have looked more scary-he wasn't to me.

@politelypompous It was said in an interview that part-way through season 1, they decided to make demons more human-like mainly to reserve on budgetting. But I do see what u mean by that.
If you ever get the chance to see Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I HIGHLY reccomend you do), there's a wide variety of demons there too, heck it even goes into detail of whole demensions of demons.

The only time they used special effects and made a demon really scary to me was in The Honeymoon's Over and the judge was really a demon...when he changed, I closed my eyes-he was so creepy!

No you're wrong, if they try to use their power out of condition, they cease to exist.
If the Tribunal uses their power directly against a being of good or evil, they cease to exist, since they are the product of good and evil, hence they would tear themselves apart.Their punishement to pheobe was because she is "good" - and as in the alliance of good, she has to follow the rules. They can just betray the Wiccan raede and turn "evil" - no one would stop them then.

@LordManticore I think there were powers stronger than the sisters-many times they were at the mercy of situations/conditions/entities they had no control over & the entities were clearly stronger. That's the huge reason why various demons wanted Wyatt so badly. HIS power is much stronger than all these entities & they knew once the sisters had him & his powers on the side of good, they were unbeatable. If the sisters were just as powerfull regardless, evil wouldn't be so desperate to get Wyatt.

@MrButler124 Death only took piper for a day to help him, he cannot kill people, he simply goes to guide them after they die, he never killed Prue, but when he died, He went to guide her to the after life.
He cannot harm anyone, because his existence is to guide people to the after life, if he does any other thing he would automatically cease to exist.
Angels of destiny simply protect and foresee destiny, they exist but cannot fight or harm people, or they too will cease to exist.

@MrButler124 Elders are higher ranking whitelighters, they can be killed using dark lighter's cross bow or a power of three spell.
As for the Avatars, the Charmed ones can probably recreate the potion, and i think that by killing one of their core members, Beta [ i think ] it damaged the Avatars permanently, Piper was able to blast them away.

@LordManticore Um no it's not. The series vaguley refer to those kinds of deals, and the books are considered noncanon so I don't think they count. But I think what both of us are trying to say that regardless of what those superpowers are supposed to do and their "limitations", they are still considerably more powerful than the Charmed Ones. & again my point is that the only reason they are more powerful than them is because they do not take part of time & space. They simply exist to fullfill the grand design, it is explained trust me please, and in some interviews the producers said that, also part of the production included a demonologist who explained this. The elders are a normal force of good, and not more powerful than the charmed ones.

Point blank the Tribunal are the most powerful beings in the show(in comics Ima guess Neena and her mate is seeing as how they are outside of the grand desgin). They monitor magic and magical beings to make sure it's not exposed. So even by themselves I'm sure they'd be more than a match. Plus If the can erase any magical being or activity, then that pretty much puts them at the top of the food chain.

Hey everyone just to let you know, Wyatt is not using Piper's power(Molecular Combustion) in this scene. It's a power called Havokinisis(A more destructive and powerful form of telekinisis). In the episode Morality bites, Prue accidently uses it to blow up the attic wall. It speeds up the molecules around objects while moving them, which causes an explosion while flinging the objects. It's really cool power and only him and Pure have been seen using it.

@LordManticore naw we both wrong. it's neither one of those. It's an ability called energy waves. Leo as an avatar used it, and Piper's Molecular Combustion power is a limited form of that ability. It disnergrates targets and kills the victim on instant contact. Oh and in this same episode when he turned evil, Piper blasted him clear across the room hehehe so in a way he does have her combustion ablites, but they manifest as combustive orbing, pyrokinesis, and energy waves.

A collective is when 2 or more people combine their energy into a "seal" for example ; the triquetra, and they share their energy between them - enhancing their power together - however if one of the collective dies the seal weakens and so do they -

What makes them even more powerful is their emotional link, which further enhances all their power, and they are born under an even BIGGER prophecy than Wyatt, and it is the Prophecy of the entire Halliwell Line/Melinda/Whole point of the show.

@MrButler124 When you want to count their power against someone, do so as a collective because that is where their powers lies, not alone.
Also just a reminder; Elders only were able to effect them because they are good, the elders can only effect a person as long as they are good.
In-fact when in an episode they turned evil the elders had to send Leo back, since they couldn't effect them. The "powers for personal use" is a code for being on the side of good, once evil it doesn't matter anymore.

The tribunal are just 2 powerful elders and 2 upper ranking demons, they can be defied like any normal elder in the end.
The cleaners exist only to keep magic from being exposed, and are not immune to witch's SPELLS [ neither are the Tribunal ]

I don't know about the comics, i feel that they made so much concentration of the "twice blessed prophecy" and wyatt that they left out the original prophecy, that of the Charmed ones being the most powerful of the haliwel line, which is btw the prophecy of their ancestor.

@MrButler124 Nahh, the only powerful beings the Charmed ones cannot touch is the Angels of Death/Destiny, but that's okay in my eyes, since Angels are there to simply "Function" - and even if the Charmed ones were to destroy half of the world they still wouldn't interfere since its not their Function.
The Tribunal are made of the two most powerful elders, and the two most powerful demons as a collective, now when both evil and good combine themselves the result is final. ex: Tribunal/Hollow

Tribunal/Cleaners - Unless you expose magic/ break the rules (as long as your sided with Good) they can't touch you, even if you dominate the entire world.
Avatars can be killed by a potion, very easy.

@MrButler124 Tribunal/Cleaners cannot interfere with anything since they are made by an agreement of both good and evil, thus they are neutral, no matter what happens, unless magic is exposed, they cannot do anything. If they try to stop the charmed ones from like .. dominating the world, they will lose all their power, since they changed from neutral, and the link and authority between them is forever broken.

@MrButler124 I know what you're saying and I agree. There where MANY situations where the Charmed Ones were at the mercy of entities and/or conditions they couldn't control. Therefore, those powers or entities were stronger than they were.That's why so many demons wanted Wyatt. Now HIS power is stronger than all these entities. They knew once he was on the sisters' side they'd be unbeatable. If the sisters were just as powerful without Wyatt, these entities wouldn't have wanted him so badly.

@AngemonRulez I love how even though Wyatt's extremely powerful, he also seems very much in control and doesn't just throw his powers around because he has them. He assessed the situation and only stepped in when he really had to which shows how respectful he is of his powers and of their strength and he seems to use them only as a last resort. He seems very controlled. In the future, I think he probably let his mom and aunts try and handle situations before using his really strong powers.

@politelypompous Very true. I've no doubt Piper taught him control cuz she went from a hot mess, blowing up everything in her way, to really having a handle on her powers, even to the point of blasting Christy's arm without causing.....ya know, exploded witch everywhere. ;)

I wish they'd tape a special or movie featuring present day and with the boys all grown up (with Wes and Drew back in the parts, of course)...I even want to see what Cole's up to-I bet he found some way to get out of limbo!

@AngemonRulez Do you remember an episode Piper and Phoebe went robbing a musuem, she blew and froze a security bullet-proof glass? Also, do you recall she froze a demon and unfroze only his head? Or when she - pretending to be Wyatt - blew the air above a demon's left shoulder to lauch him into a frozed energy ball? Or how she blew a plasma ball in an episode where they dealt with a ghost (Richard´s dead fiance)?

@politelypompous I bet that's the reason Chris had so much fun in vanquishing demons. He was rendered completely useless by Wyatt. In the last episode, Wyatt corrects him: "Chris: We were kicking some demon asses...; Wyatt: excuse me, I WAS kicking some demon asses" I bet Chris had throw whatever they were fighting a few meters away, jump to his brother and orb them out. Perhaps, the only time adult Chris saved adult Wyatt

IMO, this is a huge continuity error. Wyatt is clearly stronger than Piper, and yet, the Charmed ones were supposed to be the 'strongest witches of all time'-

@livepower34325 Actually it's not completely a continuity error. Wyatt is supposed to be the most powerful being in all of Magic. The Charmed Ones are supposed to be the most Legendary of all Witches. Plus the Charmed Ones are the strongest of all Witch families. Plus also the statement that the Charmed Ones were to be the strongest witches of all time was in the first 4 seasons. Once Wyatt's conception however the show states that he was to be the most powerful being in all of magic.

@livepower34325, the Charmed Ones were the most powerful witches of all time UP TO THAT TIME. No witches before them had ever been as strong as they were (with the Power of Three). But it's sort of like a runner. When a runner comes along and sets new world records, he is considered the fastest runner of all time, because he is. That doesn't mean there will never, ever be a runner that's faster. And, when a faster runner comes along, *they* will then be called the fastest runner of all time.

@LordManticore hey um just correction, The Charmed Ones are the most powerful witches of all time actaully, well at least as a whole. Wyatt is the most powerful magical being on earth. And Wyatt is not invincible either nor is he as experienced as Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige. In power he heavily outways them easily individually, but they're experienced, they could strip his powers, & let's not forget Piper can w/excalibur too. And using the power of three they become resistant to attacks.

@LordManticore yes agree with everything you just said, except that the part about them being average witches alone. No see they aren't average witches alone, they're stronger induvidually than the average witch(with Piper being the most powerful because of her molecular combustion power), but yea either way, they're all awesome!!
