Um...no not even a little bit. It has a number of life-ending debuffs. Demon's payment for example, if you exhaust your mana supply you take like 100 damage per second. Ether drain, up to 150 mana drain per 2 seconds. Frailty, -10% all resistances and can stack multiple times. All the while losing a lot of stamina, and when in combat stamina doesn't regenerate quickly. Spellweaving is utterly painful and mostly useless.
That's been my experience too but I have seen a necro kill everyone in Tesso (80s) in about 5 seconds while spellweaving without dying, it was probably hacks though.

So does the demo's spellweaving still look like this? All the videos I've been seeing the Demo, ToS and Necro's spellweaving all looks the same. With the PoM being the only one with a unique spellweaving. This spellweaving looks amazing but none of the newer videos look anything like this. Kind of disappointing if they got rid of something as cool as this.

Here's the thing, regardless of what people say, in PVP you'll find every relatively balanced as this game requires skill during pvp, i mean on my level 31 i took out a 46 solo, mainly because i placed my skills well and slaughtered him... heh. But i play conqueror and ALT demonologist on the wildsoul pvp server.
well first of all if you heard rangers are overpowered your right but the game is still about skill dont pick a class like ranger i on my Herald of Xotli killed level 58 ranger twice and other higher level rangers and all classes multiple times The Xotli is hard to play but probely the coolest

maybe because its not 1 spell? do u know what spellweaving is? u do a bunch of casts at once...and they can buff u...or the spell...or hurt u...or the spell....
the spellweaving function builds up a lot of spells into one and then releases them. In a raid situation you could build up a few spells to cast a super spell dealing massive damage, but it drains your health while spellweaving. In a pvp situation I think you would quickly combine spells, such as combining a AoE spell with a mana drain spell to damage and drain a few enemies around you at once. But you become incredibly vulnerable doing it.

This is incorrect, spellweaving slightly buffs your damage, and adds additional affects like increases AoE range. It drains stamina until you run out when it starts to drain health. It also give various debuffs like mana drains and health drains.

The constantly spinning camera was kind of annoying.
Also, why is it I keep seeing people talking about how UO was just the most amaaazing thing ever and it easily dominates wow, aoc, family guy, bill gates and astronauts? I mean that's great that you enjoyed it but.. no one really cares anymore.

Spellweaving is unlocked at level 50. it's one action that gives you multiple levels of buffs at intervals of every 15-20 seconds. While it doesnt appear useful, it is extremely powerful, it prevents you from being knocked back and the buffs give you damage multipliers by 50% and higher, which also includes heals, range is increased. but all of these improvements cost being rooted while you are weaving, your stamina and health drain, and you suffer -10% to your invulnerabilities. this PWN's WoW!

Hi guys. I have just ordered this game and i can´t wait until i get it! But i can´t decide if i want to be a Ranger or an Herald of Xotli. Can anyone please give a suggestion. I like playing pvp but what is most important is that the class is fun to play. Please help me, thank you ^^

Here's the thing, regardless of what people say, in PVP you'll find every relatively balanced as this game requires skill during pvp, i mean on my level 31 i took out a 46 solo, mainly because i placed my skills well and slaughtered him... heh. But i play conqueror and ALT demonologist on the wildsoul pvp server.

well first of all if you heard rangers are overpowered your right but the game is still about skill dont pick a class like ranger i on my Herald of Xotli killed level 58 ranger twice and other higher level rangers and all classes multiple times The Xotli is hard to play but probely the coolest

Every MMORPG "Copied" something from another MMORPG. I belive no one have a copyright of the term Quest,Mounts, and such. And whitetigherx11. Does the 11 in your name describe your age?, Aoc havent copied anything. No MMORPG copied another MMORPG.

if they copied everything in wow, why is it sooo far from that kind of success that blizzard had with Wow?;) If we can discuss in that way, then wow have copied starwars galaxies. First of all, whoever posted the video doesn't have a very good computer, which is why the textures are low pixel. Second: even at AoC's lowest graphical settings, it would look like a masterpiece compared to the cartoon garbage that is WoW. And third, AoC is for the more mature players, not 10 year olds like you. I doubt you could ever even figure the combat system.

think just about any MMO has quests. most have tanks healers and dps types, a lot of mmo's these days have mounts, every mmo has customizable charactars.
and whos wants to try and raid a spot when its not instance like, there would be thousands of other players waiting for respawn.
but one thing AoC has that WoW dose not, is graphics that isnt cartoon-style , AoC is actualy nice to look at unlike WoW

whitetiger, you are quite the dumbfuck. First: AoC's character customization is eons ahead of WoW's gay customization process. Second: EVERY MMO HAS MAJOR CITIES YOU RETARD. Third: VIRUTALLY EVERY MMO HAS QUESTS!!! MOST MMO'S ARE BASED AROUND QUESTS YOU IDIOT. Fourth: Every game has some variation of a soldier/healer/caster/dps. AoC just simply has more options.Last: You obviously consider WoW as the first MMO, and the greatest, well sorry to tell you, Meridian 59 was the first.

the spellweaving function builds up a lot of spells into one and then releases them. In a raid situation you could build up a few spells to cast a super spell dealing massive damage, but it drains your health while spellweaving. In a pvp situation I think you would quickly combine spells, such as combining a AoE spell with a mana drain spell to damage and drain a few enemies around you at once. But you become incredibly vulnerable doing it.
of course it would take a long time dont u think?>

This is incorrect, spellweaving slightly buffs your damage, and adds additional affects like increases AoE range. It drains stamina until you run out when it starts to drain health. It also give various debuffs like mana drains and health drains.

Wtf why are people comparing WoW to runescape?? look up a game called ultima Online its came out waaay before runescape and its a real game u buy not one little shits play cuz they dont have credit card to buy real games. It had armour wepons proffesions quests classes and even Noobs! all back in 1997.. i lol at any1 that thinks runescape is a real game, or that any game such as WoW or aoc would ever inspire after or to be.
