  • thanks! i suck at airbrushing right now...... im hoping to get a lot better because of your tuts!

  • @FishingItUp11 hey josh change that u in tuts to a i

  • awesome videos ,

do you use wood for all of your lures > you mentioned blanks so i didnt know if you use just wood and what kind for you floating lures

    thanks for sharing

  • Great vid, great music!

    :)

  • I don't ever have air bubbles, I just don't mix the epoxy so vigorously. I take my time and mix it well, but slow. The epoxy cures great with an awesome gloss.

  • You're a beast

  • Really good video! I'm learning with your tutorials a lot!

    Thanks!

One question, ¿do you give some clear acrilyc varnish for protect paint before you give epoxy?

  • @Piterys usually i don't have anything else on top of the envirotex coat.. here in this video i had put a coat of it before applying the last one

  • @SolarBaits I referred under envirotex. Epoxy does not scratch acrylic paint? Thanks

  • @Piterys well i would not know since i don't use acrylic paints my self but i don't think it will scratch the paint job once you start to brush on the envirotex.

  • it's the C02 in the air your blowing against it that bursts the bubbles, not the heat. blowing pure CO2 against it would be best. You can also just breath against your baits like an asthma patient.

  • @arisingartist i beg to disagree cos heat does cause the epoxy to have much lower surface tension thus makes the bobbles burst more easily. also there is another reason why an extra heat source while getting rid of the bobbles is advantageous, is the way it helps to speed up the geling process and makes the resin harden faster.

  • @SolarBaits nice!

  • @arisingartist Though correct, The heat also expands the enclosed bubbles and causes them to pop, Not to mention the heat helps the clear dry and get a smoother finish. But make sure you also are moving the heat gun or it will burn up the paint, Been there done that.

  • go get some syringes or a cheap digital scale. way much easier to get the good ratio

  • @arisingartist i do have a small digital scale but the damn thing is not very accurate in smaller weights so cos of that i don't use that method myself, so far just measuring it from the pouring cups has worked pretty well for me. i guess it depends what method your used to too

  • how many times do you give them a clearcote?

    Thanks for the video:p

  • @daboflo usually about 2-4 times depending in the lure

  • Thanks for the info, looks like a good site

  • Where do you get that epoxy in Finland?

  • @651478 there used to be some at puukkomatti but i guess it might have been a test patch to see if it sells, i guess it did not too well so now adays i order mine from lureparts.nl

  • Always glad when I see that you have made a new tutorial.
