I can back-up that story of the Air France plane. I was actually on vacation at the time. It was a B743. I also recall that the main landing gear skid marks were clearly visible at only 10 to 15 feet from the fence. Just as a btw: I also remember a KLM 743 and an Air France 743 both flipping a car into the water upon take-off!!! Gotta love it!

It was not an AF plane but a KLM one and neither it was a 743 but moreover a 744. At the given sinkrate and the length of a 747 it is completely impossible to touch down at a distance of 10-15 feet from the fence without severely clipping it. There isn't even a paved surface at the distance mentioned. Neither KLM or Air France do operate 743's anymore. Even if a car was gripped by the jetwash it would have to be blown over the guardrail to reach the sea. Tell your fake stories someone else.
