did u know if u chop a deers head open after ya killit theres worms running around it brain?

seriously like cows dogs ect animals that eat grass will get worms and they form in the head but then ue at the deer meat from that same dead deer with live worms in tis head seriously!

you didnt skin it w/ the feet on!! take it down to the ankle and wrist joints, leaving feet atached to the hide. or if experienced, cut inside the paw, peeling skin down to finger and toe tips cliping the claws leaving them attached to the hide. oh, nice bear tho! congrats!

Skinning a bear should aggro every bears in a 40 yd. radius. It makes sense. You are skinning their best friend.

Sadly, this was the first bear my father has ever shot so he didn't really know how to skin it properly...and bears need to be skinned quickly or the meat goes bad. Kinda had to hack the hide off quicky and dirty. So we might get a nice pair of mittens out of it.:)

We got this one just before it was going to hibernate, so it had packed on a lot of fat. The meat can be tough, but we cooked this sucker good (which you should do for bear anyway), so the meat was pretty tender. I have no idea how many bears are hunted ever year. I assume it's a fairly high number though.

Do you Canadians eat bear often? I assumed they were tough real fatty, but I don't know.
