Thanks! Start with the FngrLickinGood preset and switch the amp model to High Gain Blue (if it's not that already). Lower the channel volume well below 50% and have the master volume on at least 25%. Adjust the mids up a little. Adjust the delay to taste. Presence is at about 60%. Bass and Treble I adjust to the cab I'm playing on. Hope this helps.

@npg4life Thanks for the compliment. It is a sound based on the fingerlicking good preset. I adjusted all the parameters a little bit but, especially turning down the volume and turning up the master.

how does it compare to the first generation?? is it that much better???

It is better from a tweaking effects standpoint and the addition of a looper. It has a lot more effects than the 1st gen after upgrading to the latest firmware (spider infusion). Some of the amp models are different. I don't think they are better or worse between the MkII and the 1st gen, just different so it depends on your taste. If you want more control over your effects then, get the MkII. If you're mainly concerned about the amp simulation tones then, the 1st gen is fine.

great playing.. could you demo the spidervalve mk2..?? amps and effects.. im thinking of getting one but cant try them here in my country.! is it that much better than the 1st..???
