  • I'd give you a 100 bucks for it. wink wink.

  • I was like, thats a Jacksin! But I was mistaken

  • i have a washburn like that X Series and it s so beautiful i have it from 2006 ,it haves a sweet sound just love it :)

  • do you know the exaclty name of this guitar ? rsp plz :)

  • Wow, thats a really nice guitar !

  • ask your buddy if it's for sale! i played one last week at a friend, it just rocks!

  • @MParseface38 Its not for sale anymore :( But its true, the guitar has a montrous sound!!!

    Cheers

  • To solve your action problem you want to

first: either remove strings or loosen them all the way and remove the neck by way of the four screws. Then add a shim the thickness of matchbook paper just after the two screws closest to the neck pickup. Make sure it is only wide and long enough to fill the space after the two screw holes so the neck can use it to straighten it out. Its an easy fix if you mess up because it doesnt involve electronics or anything. message me for questions!

  • dude i'm jealous of you. that guitar is so sexy

  • nice vid btw i wish i had a washburn but instead i have a yamaha sg 2000...=( washburn looks sick tough

  • dude u talk waaaaaaaaay 2much

  • nice axe

  • if its an usa made guitar then i dont think that its got licensed floyd!

  • i have this same guitar.

  • I have the same guitar too. It's damn nice! :D

But don't believe your friend. Maybe he stole it from the shop. Lol, jk. :P

  • either a SS-40 or SS-80..SS-40 was cheaper import series.SS-8- had schaller floyd and tuners, poplar body,SeymourDuncan JB Trembuckers. If your tremelo is a Scahller it the SS-80/If not its the SS-40.Poplar body with a cheaper floyd copy and there washburn eliminator pickups

  • 1st electric guitar I ever held, or tried to bang something out on, was a a (pointy headstock) Washburn.

  • well taken care of i love the design to it. washburn is a good guitar brand

  • WOW .. I really enjoyed this tape .. it has a great sound and I loved the description. I was just trying to find out more about Washburn as it was mentioned in a blog.

  • i may be willing to trade my custom shecter damien 6 for that

  • l0l never..

  • lol well i tried lmao

  • I have a guitar look's exactly the same

  • Steve Stevens was the other half of Billy Idol - Great rock guitarist...

  • Washburn makes some of the best guitars ever, I know everyone is devided between Gibson and Fender but my PS 100 rocks out

  • Portuguese :-)))

  • Steve Stevens is one of the best guitarists ever!

  • very nice guitar, and you have a very nice style.i have a washburn lyon.greetings from argentine.GOD THE LORD BLEES YOU.

  • dude you were tuning it wrong. Good job, nice way to break the locks.

  • I own a washburn and yeah they're cheap. I got a Washburn Skull. Very limited production sounds and feels like a Les Paul kinda. Sounds good but you do lose alot of clarity with the pickups and they're not durable at all the neck warped just from being in a basment that really wasn't all that cold my other 6 guitars faired it no problem.

  • hum hum my washburn mg 40 is 12 years old and still plays and looks like new...

  • He needs to shim the the neck .001 to .002 or more to get the right angle.

  • ok now i will start lookin in my basement to see if i could find 1 too lol nice vid five stars

  • Man would I love to find one of these. The only chance someone would have is a chance encounter on Ebay.

  • There around and really don't bring much I've seen them for around 350.00 400.00 mostly on-line guitar shops.I saw one in a music store about 5 years ago for 250.00

  • Carvin have the best necks in the world! If you dont believe me try one! Anyway, might would to adj the truss rod to get the action down to a acceptable level. nice tremelo.

  • FENDER DUDE. EATS ALL OF THEM.

  • Yeah- if you like playing middle of the road dad rock that is. I have a washburn pro 50 fe loaded with emg's and it would kill any fender for playing metal on.

  • EMGs? You can do better!

  • Most Guy's say EMG's are a little on the "hot side" everybodys fallen into the 81/ 85 setup but thing is you loose clarity and definition.Just my opinion......peace

  • They're just overcompressed... cover up sloppy playing pretty well. You have no idea how many EMG players can't play on anything else.

  • I agree with you 100%

  • If you like playing blues and don't need 24 frets, low action, a large radius (flat neck for low action), a floyd, or humbuckers or a big tone.

  • As Long as it's american

  • It is a ss80, I have had one for over 5 years and it's my maine axe,but i did put dimarezo super distoration in the bridge and a paf pro in the neck. I love the neck it's fast as hell with the right action( take strings all the way down to the frets and then a half turn up. Mine has a floyd so you can lower each sadle if needed(try that). I love this guitar more then my $3,000 prs and $1,500 wolfgang I bougt on ebay.Get the kinks worked out and you will love it. Good Luck.

  • juca, how about selling this guitar if you don't like it, I like them and have an SS80 that I ordered from Washburn back in 1993.

Check out Wilkipedia under Steve Stevens, I updated that site with Washburn info. The double adjustable truss rod makes yours an SS80. Dave

  • Are you sure this is the USA model? Can you tell me the serial number?

  • meu k distocao! e tipo jackson professional! ou melhor!

  • By the way ..what is the song you were playing when you first turned up the distortion? I know i've heard it but I can't put my finger on it..plus I want to learn it now..hehe.

  • pfslik:Hi, the song is from whitesnake. It´s easy to play, I think it´s called :" Here I go again"

    Thanks for posting :)

    Cheers

  • Hey bro..I have a similar git..a ss/40. Looks almost exactly like the one you have except yours headstock looks more like fender headstock. Mine has the fender type shape but a little more rounded than yours. The only other difference I see is that yours had abalone dots while mine has black dots which makes me think yours is a ss/80 or even an ss/100 model. Also bro ...you probably need a pro set up ..mine plays awesome w/ very low action w/ no fret buzz.

  • "he found it in his basement."

    man, i wish i'd find a steve stevens-signature in my basement...! :D

is it yours now, so did you buy it?

oh, by the way, have you ever played a gibson explorer? their necks are slightly thicker than the les paul studios, so i would be interested in playing this washburn, just for comparison. sweet video!

  • MParseface38: Thanks for posting! I don´t own it,doesn´t suit my style, but he doesn´t need it,so it´s going to stay here for a while..Never played an explorer, but if the necks are alike..they are Very Hard to play!!The sound is great, the pickups are JB´s.But I´m not gonna use it.I prefer my Standard. Cheers
