@BubbleBelly542 Manipulate his own mix by chopping beats, contorting sounds, applying loops, etc. there is a lot more going on than it seems. Granted, a lot of "DJ's" will stand on stage and make it look like they are doing something, when in fact they are just pressing play. People often discredit them because it looks like they're just having fun and rocking out, which is necessary because they are not in fact playing instruments and arent restricted to certain movements.

@BubbleBelly542 I will explain. Its really easy to make a judgement call when you are oblivious to the craft (I mean this seriously, not sarcastically) but these artists are called Studio Musicians. I, myself, being one. It's the equivalent of composing an orchestra/band arrangement, but in a digital/computer environment. Skrillex has a LONG LONG way to go before anyone can call him a legend. Moby has held a career since 1993. And is one of the most well respected artists in electronic music. Skrillex is good at what he does, but is work isn't anything that hasn't already been done before. If Skrillex is still going in 2029 then ill call him a legend.

I think it looks like Moby ran onto the stage to do his set and kicked Skrillex(sonny) off. then he train wrecked into his own stuff. It looked and sounded to me like he didn't know how to work the sampler and mixer. Just saying and I don't care what the rest of you think. I love them both and grew up with mobys stuff.

@MrJdavidratliff i yeah, sonny was really pressed for time. they kept fucking his shit up in the beginning. i talked to him after and he said it was a fun set, but he was really hoping to get a few more tracks in before moby went on. moby was suppose to go on at 6 but didnt till 620. and they had to be out of there at 7 for the official sxsw showcases. so moby's set was actually cut short.
