Great review.. I'll bet the guides on the engraver are for depth setting.. I do have a question though. WHY would it be useful to have the variable heat dial like that? Hoping that you cover that kind of stuff on your more in depth reviews of each of those products... Thanks Bud
@jimeronimo variable heat allows you control depth of cut more easily for instance. On the knife, its probably not as important, but for close/careful cuts, if its too hot it will cut too wide a channel for instance. Once I play with it more I will let you know just how much it affects it. The tools are up for the next video.
@Soulcaresser2 Understandable. Of course, don't forget that the web puts companies all over the world in your neighborhood, but some have a higher fee to leave the store (shipping charges). :)
@Terranscapes Indeed thats correct what you say. So when the shipping cost is not to high. Its nice to buy it. As not all such companies are near you or have a similar product.
Very nice, perhaps this might actually satisfy some of those cries for tutorials as well. Also kudos to HWFFF for sending this to you and actually letting you pick what you would like!
i have had a simmilar "heatknife" but mine had the resistor thing at the base and then that heated up the blade, i did not like it at all because the handel got really warm and the blade took a long time to heat up, so im really interested in your review of that thingi. nice unboxing btw!
@wooders2310 Thanks. Well, who knows what the future will bring. :) For the time being, expect a few more videos on these products as I look at them much more closely.
I wish you had been my middle school science teacher...I probably would be a better man than I am today.

GREAT review, I'd love to see the foam fusion vs. wood glue side by side.
I'm looking forward to the other reviews as well.
